Just imagine Abby hearing the sound of bones cracking from within the suit. In my opinion, that would make the movie way more scary.

Shows that despite what they've done and what they can do, the souls of the animatronics are children that had their lives cut short and were lied to. Despite their wariness and dislike towards Mike, they stood down and allowed him to join in on the fun when Abby introduced them. They were never actively hateful or hostile towards him initially.
Ironically that’s what I like about these versions of the animatronics. They have far more control over their animatronic bodies and still possess other emotions besides vengeance.
That’s and now that they know the truth and have some form or peace plus Mike did promise they’ll start visiting them more it’ll possible they’ll be more on civil terms
I think that ruins the horror that built the series. What worked was it was a child's game you had to win that they broke the rules to. They wanted you to die.

@@JamaicaZ160R1793010AThe thing is it's fine to make scenes like this as a way to simpathyse with them, but there should be more scenes of them being frightening as a way to balance it, this is meant to be a horror movie after all
I like that they show their hostility towards Mike, they naturally don’t trust adults anymore as it was an adult who killed them. It’s heartbreaking especially that staredown Freddy gave Mike. He doesn’t trust him but he wants to.
The animatronics aren’t really evil, they’re just sad and confused ghosts….
It is a tragic thing. Robbed of life and condemned to inhabit these animatronics. It’s not really living, it’s limbo between life and death.
They're tortured, manipulated, and controlled. The last thing those poor kids want to do is hurt anyone.

This scene was wholesome, since I’m an OG fan, I knew they’d pull something like this, though most people see them as murderous animatronics that want to kill, but in reality they’re just kids, that want to have fun and play, when meeting Abby they finally have a new friend in like years since they’ve been stuck in the place for so long it truly warms my heart, since they finally get the one thing they lacked love

I was 9 when the first game came out and I'm currently 18 now, seeing the animatronics on the big screen on opening day just felt so surreal and it felt like a dream. Can't wait to see the sequel!

0:13 something I really like about this scene is the way Mike acted. When he heard Abby screaming and saw the animatronics, he wasn’t even phased by them. All he cared about at the moment was protecting Abby, and by taking out whatever was the problem. It took a few seconds for Mike to actually realize what he was looking at, though. Good scene 👍
This was so strange and cute! It was honestly my favorite part. They each have personailes you can just see from the simple gestures. Freddy is protective. Hes the leader. Bonnie is a bit of a sweet goofball. Chica is sweet, but can drop it, and become murderous. Foxy watches. Foxy waits. The cupcake thirsts for blood!! The fact that all the cute stuff they do still sounds so metalic, brings an uneasieness.

Considering it was William Afton dressed in that uniform, I imagine whenever they see an adult or security badge/uniform, it triggers their ptsd.
@@ryandunham1047 If we consider the Books, they stayed at the moment of their Happiest Day, which is the Birthday Party that they never enjoyed and the Adults, for them, are intruders who want to take away their Happiest Day, it is the same thing that happens with People who die violently are trapped in a Loop, the last day of their lives and for them, they are still alive and they forget that they are dead and how they died. Here, in the Movie, they forgot who killed them, while in the Game, they did not forget their Murder, they knew who had killed them, but they attacked the Guards, because they thought that one of them was William Afton, since This one entered the Pizzeria at night, to steal Remnant or as they call it in the Books, The Agony and like the Guards, they also entered at night, they confused them with him, until they killed them they saw that none of them were he
It really is sad to imagine that for decades, these four never had an uplifting presence quite like Abby. Sure, they had each other, but they were mostly left to toil in their own anguish. Abby was someone that helped them forget that anguish, so no wonder they wanted her to stay forever.
Unless you count Glamrock Freddy, but I know how… controversial that game is….
Freddy and his friends remind me of the Collector from Owl House. He's been alone for so long, which is why he wanted King to be his friend cuz Belos manipulated him. Just like Afton with the Animatronics
And these are kids btw… innocent little babies 🥺😭💔 Abby was basically their only light and for once in their miserable afterlife, they were happy again. It’s so heartbreaking 💔

This is one of my favorite scenes in the whole film and the animatronics look so incredibly amazing as they always do! Abby playing with them and talking to them was so heartwarming and cute especially when she hugged Freddy. I wish that we're me :). This movie was such a truly awesome masterpiece and is now and always will be my top favorite. I couldn't ever ask for a better movie. Thank you Blumhouse and Scott for having my childhood nostalgic video game franchise become an official movie. Can't wait for the sequel!

1:21 let’s talk about this. This plays after Mike says “there has to be someone controlling them.” This sound is very similar to a jack in the box. Now here’s the real question. Who in the FNAF universe is similar to a Jack in the box, and has a somewhat “control” over the animatronics? And just to remind you guys, this same sound effect can be heard in the OST for this movie in “My Grandfather’s Clock” which also plays at the end of the movie. And now, whose song is that? Or is represented by that? The Puppet.

I mean, the animatronics are basically just kids’ souls that were tricked by William Afton. so.
The movie is meant to focus more on the childlike nature on the animatronics, because people (myself included) often forget that the animatronics really are just innocent kids that were murdered at a young age
They sound intimidating for me. The Wiring and bleeping sounds. That cranking noise when they move. The low grumbling and growling machinery. always loved those sounds off of them when they showed up in this movie. I think they did a good job on betraying the animatronics.
The real bad guy here is William Afton, they are misunderstood victims

To think that the first time when Five nights at Freddy's dropped was in 2014-2015 and i was in 5th grade and now in University is crazy. I've been a fan of FNATF for 8 years!!
I remember when I first got into FNAF I thought that the animatronics were actually being controlled by an evil that was not William and that they were not possessed by dead kids. Oh how the world of FNAF has opened up to me.
Say what you want about the movie, but the practical effects behind the animatronics are second to none. The Jim Henson company did their designs justice.

I like how the expression of Freddy changes when he meets Mike. At first, when Mike rushes in with the chair, he perceives him as a threat and is ready to attack him. Then when Abby says that Mike's her brother, his expression mellows and relaxes, and doesn't see him as danger anymore.
I love this movie.

This film is wonderful, I saw it for the first time with my older sister two months ago on Streaming (unfortunately I wasn't able to see it in theaters) and we had a lot of fun. When the first FNAF game came out I was about 10 years old and I remember that for a short period I had a huge obsession with the saga, now I no longer have it because now my obsessions are very others, but FNAF still remains one of my absolute favorite games ever and I must say the film is came out really well. My rating for the FNAF movie is: 9.6 out of 10.
Man, this dude really had it rough for years, huh. His bestfriend died when he was young, he then played a boardgame with his brother that took them to outerspace, went to the center of the earth with Brendan Fraser and again with The Rock, became a vampire and fought his friend who's also a vampire, he participated in the Hunger Games, played a 16 year old for Tommy Wiseau's movie and now he's dealing with killer animatronics.
