the thing that disappointed me the most about RE3R was the lack of alternative costumes ..i literally expected a skin that she would be a sandwich, like the tofu in RE2R ...god damn it capcom

I have alot of issues with the game but I can barely forgive the length. But removing mercenaries mode from the game that STARTED the mode, was criminal. Resistance will be dead in months. Most likely sooner. It was a waste of time and resources. But overall, In canada I pay over 90$ for the typical triple "A" game, and this game was NOT WORTH IT. Enjoyed what was there but 2 words... NOT ENOUGH. 👎👎👎 Capcom saw how well RE2 sold and they tried to sell less for more with this game. And it fell flat on its face. I DONT want a RE1 remake or Code veronica remake or even dino crisis if THIS is how they plan on doing things.👎👎

I still super enjoy the game but it’s hard not to think this is less than what came before whether that be the RE2make or the original RE3.

Great stuff dude. Barring REmake1, 3 was always my fav of the resident evil titles and the more I look at this the more I just really hate what they've done, i'm sure it'll be fun but this feels like the result of them rushing it out in an attempt to annualize RE(which the 4 rumors are not helping much at all). I'm also not a big fan of the redesigns imo, the original nemesis was perfection while I feel the new one is a bit overdone and Jill's new suit design just looks super generic to me, def getting a mod for the classic suit. And hearing how linear this is compared to 2 and how much it cuts?..hoo boy, part of my issue with 2 is that the second half of the game doesn't have anything on the police station and did feel more linear, this game feels like it'll be a worsening of all my issues with 2. Mr X felt underutilized because he could be skipped almost entirely with a bit of planning, seeing how scripted Nemesis is, especially after such an insanely good demo is just ugh.. I also saw the cheat sheet for the puzzles and like over 1/3 of them are either from 2, or were in the demo. Also dropping the clocktower whyyyy!. REmake1 should forever be used by them as the standard for a resident evil remake, it had everything from the original while adding on new sections, new bosses and refining the story out more, why they feel the need to remove iconic moments, enemies etc from these remakes just makes them feel so much lesser to me. I don't want to go into it too negatively, I am trying to prepare myself for a fun experience that won't be Resident Evil 3, but more then anything it gets me worried that Capcom is getting too greedy with the franchise after the success of 2make and 7.

Yeah, I wish they made Nemesis a more credible threat by him chasing Jill more often, then maybe adapt to Jill's weaponry by mutating. But great review!

All I really hoped for was lots of awesome Nemesis fight/chases. The fact that he is humanoid and "intelligent" and doesn't take his sweet time like every other tyrant is disturbing. He can outrun you, predict where you'll go and ambush you, shoot your escape helicopter, jump ahead of you, or use weapons. And then he turns into ANOTHER dumb-as-bricks over-mutated unshapely Resident Evil monster that charges at you a lot.

It's short, linear, scripted, and with cheezy ass lines. It's every Resident Evil game, especially 3. The live selection options are an illusion of choice which are barely different and mostly don't matter (like telltale games were); the same shit happens with minuscule changes for every choice. When it comes to Nemesis being scripted, of course he was! Remake Mr. X was more free-roaming than original Nemesis ever was!
