Take a look at our detailed installation video of a cold connection joint with warm external protection. The reinforcement is implemented here with a steel cage and screw clamps. The external protection is guaranteed with two large shrink tubes. The electrical connection is realised with 500 mm² crimp connectors and the joint body is identical to the CAM size 3 connection sleeve (plus separate field control elements).
This video does not replace any practical or theoretical training, installation instructions or corresponding safety regulations.

very nice cellpack
Thank you, Econ Save!
Great video, appreciate if you can do the clarifications I have, 1. Is there a difference doing individual Cu screen build up to each core vs doing a buildup common to entire joint as shown here? 2. What type of composition does the joint body component covering the ferrule area have? Compared to HS ones, which would have the 3 tube build up. 3. Are the HS tubes used for outer build up contain internal adhesive material?
Dear Sachit, I hope this will answer your questions! :) 1. It depends on the cable construction itself, e.g. cables with copper wire tape, there each core has a separate screening, so therefore main focus is on the function in the application. 2. Inner joint body is made of silicone, moulded with some special layers. 3. Of course does the outer heat shrink tubes has a double extruded inner adhesive layer. If you have more questions, just send us an email to ep.techsupport@cellpack.com and we will get in touch with you! Best regards BBC Cellpack Electrical Products

Khisro, thanks for your feedback! BBC Cellpack Electrical Products
just imagine if you mess something with the heat-shrink tube after you finished jointing all the cables, then covered, taped, armoured everything. you'll probably have to do it again. Nightmare.
Hi Flavio, just the imagination is terrifying! :D If you are interested in one of our trainings or if you want to minimize the error tolerance during assembly, please contact us (ep.techsupport@cellpack.com). Maybe we can turn your nightmare into a paradise :) Best regards BBC Cellpack Electrical Products

Los colores de las cintas de color rojo , amarillo y azul como se reparten a la hora de conectar en L1, L2y L3????
Hello Florín, The colour of the tapes are indicators of the faces. I hope I could help you with that. Best regards BBC Cellpack Electrical Products
It's easy to work in a worm clean room , in the right height and no time stress. But if you have to work in tight dirty with water filled trench , it's cold outside and you have to repair a damaged cable very quickly ; thats not funny anymore .
Hi Wilhelm, thank you for your feedback! You are absolutely right. An installation in reality looks very different, of course. With our videos we simply want to give insight and tips during the installation itself. However, we are aware that this is different in reality. You want help with the installation or maybe even a training, where we can give you tips and tricks for the installation in the cable trench? Feel free to contact our application engineering team directly at ep.techsupport@cellpack.com. Best regards BBC Cellpack Electrical Products
