Those titles make it way harder to consider this channel a serious one. I understand that click bait effect works well and can be perceived as necessary in terms of YT. It just triggers the "another sensationalist bullshit" diod in my brain, I imagine it works like that for some of the other people too. I'm writing this mostly because it looks like your titles have different target audience than the video itself with all the in depth and technical approach.
All these Ai channels are trying to compete for our attention. For some reason I find it kind of pathetic
Can't be said enough. I always hesitated to watch his video because I thought they were AI generated or just filled with generic info. Then I actually watched this one and was left surprised. And the name of channel doesn't even help matters.

It's called BOTH Advanced AND Ultra. The usual Google marketing insanity.
It's not. They are different products, intended to make you think you're getting Gemini Ultra when you pay for Gemini Advanced--you're not. You're getting the ability to SOMETIMES, with no choice or control by you whatsoever, get a response from the Gemini Ultra model. And you aren't allowed to know which model, all of which points to a scam. You're just using the Gemini pro model for $20/mo. Maybe every now and then it'll route a tricky input to Gemini Ultra, but, literally MAYBE NOT. You just can't know, you're not allowed to know.

Gemini Advanced is the paid plan of Gemini (chatbot, formerly Bard), and Gemini Ultra is the model that Gemini Advanced uses. Just like ChatGPT contains "GPT" in the name, and ChatGPT Plus plan gives you access to the model GPT-4. Yeah, I liked having a separate name for the chatbot and the underlying model, but it's not that complicated haha

There definitely is a lot of shocking going on. Anxiety pills and maybe also they should read industry news about what different companies are working on in AI. I don't think there's really enough information in that area. I barely here about companies who are developing AI tools until all of of a sudden, boom! AIGrid tells us about them and then, well, it's just shocking!

I keep skipping over those videos. First I see the title which in my mind automatically flags the video as spam aimed at grabbing attention of anyone. Then I see the channel name and it feels like a waste because I know that the author does good and honest work but the reluctance to click the video and watch it is usually already too strong after seeing those titles first.

I don't think you're the only one. Seems like AIGrd thinks this is the only way to get more viewers, is by clickbaity titles. It's kind of sad because it smacks as desperate and uncreative, but oh well, it's his channel, I just think he's shooting himself in the foot because after a while when actual shocking news comes out, people will be looking somewhere else because every video he puts has an over the top title, so at a certain point, you stiop believe any actual revolutionary news is real based on such a title...

I think google is adding indexed search results to the prompt context. For example, you ask it to write a script, it seem like it's adding the first page of search results to the end of your prompt (or something like this). It's bad at logic and scripting. I think the LMSYS leaderboards are being botted by Google to hype Gemini Pro. I suspect they made a bot that just asks the current weather and if the results match their reference, they vote for that model. It's not good enough to be this high in the leaderboards.
Just "outsourcing" the weather to an already existing model, is the only way to deal with weather. It would be silly if everyone interprets their own weather assumptions.
If gemini ultra 1.0 is out, when will chatgpt 4.5 come out?
@@person737 Yep what Open AI needs now is to up the allowed messages per hour on GPT-4 since for gemini it's practically limitless. If Gemini is even just 90% of GPT4 in terms of quality, the number of messages could make people switch. And often that extra 10% is not very noticeable.
@@elawchess There is still something about how GPT4 responds that has yet to be matched. Its just such a good all-around tool. With other LLMs I have to pick and choose which one I use for the task at hand rather it be a simple search, a refresher for a programing language, a tool for reflection or to bounce ideas off of. It's why I still haven't allocated that 20 a month to another LLM.

Gemini is actually very disappointing and not as was advertised! Google team simply started the whole thing with a BIG lie, and obviously now they are dealing with the consequences of that lie! From the very beginning they released a video on what Gemini could do, then quickly that lie was exposed and they started making excuses by saying that "we never claimed that Gemini is doing that right now, that's our anticipation and hope!". So, let then sink in their bad deeds!
It's been hallucinating in visual images and its really bad. Really needs a lot of work.

Kind of a bad demonstration. You were not clearing the context on both models in between prompts. For example, the gemini coding example had a huge context above it, where the gpt4 one had a fresh new context.

Many believe that no other model will surpass GPT-4 this year, which makes us wonder how advanced GPT-5 could be, especially in terms of thinking, creativity, and memory capacity. Moreover, Microsoft Copilot is already seen as better than Gemini Ultra 1.0. This shows that Google is losing ground to OpenAI and Microsoft in the world of artificial intelligence technology.

Bro, we need to talk about your sensationalist titles. I might be wrong, but it doesn't seem like a method for your target audience. People (at least the majority) come here for your thoroughness and frequency of videos. You are always on top of the subject. I really dont think there is a need for the 1 IQ titles

Have you considered getting an editor for your videos? I've noticed in many of them you will repeat things after you mess up maybe with the intention to edit it later, but you don't. I also notice times when you start to say a thought and you get half a sentence out and then it just gets cut off with something else, which is pretty jarring. I think you have enough subscribers now where it might really be helpful to get a good editor. You also tend to say the same thing multiple times, maybe in slightly different ways, but still, it seems like many of your videos could be REALLY tightened up, and not be nearly as long. Please consider doing this for your audience?
