  • Paradise Lost are the BALLS...it doesn't matter when in their history, they always kick ass. Their style is a massive influence to me as a guitar player and singer, enjoying this album for that especially. It is nice to know that this country can produce quality.

  • Po meni oni nisu nikad prestali biti oni stari, samo su iznosili svoj talenat na drugačiji način, eksperimentisali su, ali ja ne mislim da su pogriješili u tome. Ne razumijem zašto ljudi toliko odbijaju dobre stvari samo zato što se ne uklapaju u određeni kalup. Umjetnost je umjetnost, iz kojeg god ugla da je gledaš... U svakom slučaju, lijepo je vidjeti ovdje komentar na srpskom. :-)

    • Haha I don't think this video was necessarily meant to be too artistic or deep. According to some interviews, Steve collected most of these scenes as part of a pet project (and did some filming of his own) and when CM approached them about making another music video, Steve pointed out that he had this footage. So they did some editing and released it as the official music video. Kind of like the True Belief video.

  • I remember the early 90's when Paradise Lost used to be good and a proper doom metal band. I'm sorry to say that I haven't liked their music in years. I saw them live in Helsinki, Finland, back in 26th of October 1992, and have seen them 4 times after that. I guess it's an evolution of some kind, inevitably so, and I look back at the good times with a smile on my face and thank the guys for awesome years and unforgettable memories.

This is the true belief,those guys play their avesome music for almost 25 years!!They released 13 LP's!We can like or dislike some of them,but we must admit that this is a true CREATIVITY.Just imagine how many brilliant songs they've recorded.An album"The best of Paradise Lost"should last perhaps five hours or more."Shades of God"was the first tape I bought,"Draconian times" was my first CD.Now I'm 33,I'm a doctor,I've seen almost everything about life and death,and... .
