The look on Robertson's face is priceless.
Neil had a curry the previous night and had actually shat and pissed his pants just before the shot and was disguising his dread and fear.......
@@markperryman1797 Are you twelve?

@velipulla velipulla is a bad snookerer
When's the shot recreation with Jim and ronnie?
Same thoughts haha
Especially when you've got that utter plonker of a presenter mouthing off in your ear constantly, even while you're getting down to take the shots...
Probly still trying it😂 I think he played it😂😂😂
I think he played it 😂😂😂
They are still working on to this day..
"WHERE'S THE CUEBALL GOING?" - John Virgo
The cueball is the white ball, used to hit the others on the table
Dennis Taylor: Where's the h-white?!
Where are all the balls going???
I'm hearing that in his voice as I read this.
Red ball: Watch my back spin stunt White ball: Not bad, hold my beer. I’m gonna jump the pack hit the near knuckle of the middle and go into the far corner.
thats a witty comment right there.. and you didn't use the " ! " at the end that un funny people do when trying to write a funny comment ,for example . Jake Howard 1 day ago I think this shot made Robertson question everything to do with the laws of physics in snooker and he then went on to lose the game!
@@FightsAndRapMedia yes, but he did use the..hold my beer.. which has been used about a billion times, and is getting old fast!!!!!
Who cares about grammar and what not ! It’s not harming anyone lol
Lmao
Whats more impressive is that Stephen was 1-5 down here and went on to win 6-5 😮
If I was Robertson I would have resigned right after that shot. My opponent is obviously god.
The greatest trick-shot ever played, albeit unintentionally.
"oh and that's a bad miss"
You’ll never see anything like that in snooker ever again, unbelievable
Watching this as a fan of snooker and a student of physics is a pure delight
Jerry Maguire; Show me the money!! Stephen Maguire; Show me a better trick shot!!
Teacher : So hand in your essays and put them on my desk on your way please. Neil : Priceless Reaction
I did a shot very similar in my local club , from a very similar position. The white went in the same pocket but the red bounced off the table and hit my mate in the knackers. Good times
‘Oh and that’s a bad miss’
I love the Maguire double take when he looks back at the table and realises the whites not on the table anymore
If every player had a shot to sum up their career then a plain ball straight blue to middle would be Steve Davis. This shot sums up Steven Maguires career perfectly. Starts of spectacularly, hope of progress in the middle then disappointment at the end.
The white was bouncing and it hit the first red from above causing it to bounce as well. The lower half of the red hit the back of the pocket causing it to gain forward spin as well as being bounced back onto the table. After bouncing a few times the spin gripped and the red went into the pocket a second time. All perfectly in order with Physics - just rather unusual.
That happens to me every time I play
I guess it means "never"?
Wow.. the only thing I've seen similar to that in terms of rarity is that famous shot in the 80s when the black travelled along the outer frame of the table and went into the centre pocket It was featured in the opening credits of Grandstand for a while
Robertson continued to play that match with his jaw on the floor, which is tricky for a snooker player.
I think Neil was rather shell shocked
Probably why he lost
Insane shot never going to happend again
Stephen used confusion, Its super effective.
Critical Hit
He hit that so hard that even after it had hit the the back of the pocket & bounced up, it still had enough back spin to roll in after it had landed lol.
Davis in his hayday wouldn’t have blinked at that.
John Scott you’re damn right. Stone cold Steve
Davis showed no emotion what so ever it was a good tactic
Can’t wait to see jimmy try to recreate that one 😂
Nailed it!
He was like "yeah! I meant to do that!" 😂😂😂
'On-Fire implementing the metagame !! 🔥
I launched out my chair to grab my phone and record the replay 😂
and yet here you are watching it on youtube
....out of fear they weren't going to show it again ofc
Only just realized the white flew over all them reds wow 😂
Ronnie: "Just a regular shot, mate!"
Wow! That´s so amazing!!!
Probably the weirdest shot ever seen ... But beautiful.
We’ll never see another shot like this again. Nor will we ever see another Alex Higgins.
Somewhere in heaven Alex Higgins is shaking his head too lololol
Stephen Maguire played for that shot you can tell
uncredible....incredible
I see stuff like this all the time when i play snooker!
The snooker gods gave with one hand and took with another lol
There were definitely higher powers at work here 👍
This is why Big Break should be back on the BBC 😎
Great show. If it did come back, I doubt Jim Davidson would be back :-)
“I SWEAR YOU’LL NEVER SEE ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN!!!”
Mark Wilson SO WATCH IT!!! DRINK IT IN!!!!!
The camera person did a great job to capture all of this.
That would of made a great what happened next on A question of sport, if they still did that round!
Lol Neil cant believe what he just saw 😂😂
I saw Higgy play that shot before in the JamPot
Ron Wheatcroft's a hell of a player!
Stephen Maguire been watching too many videos of John Virgo on Big Break :)
Incredible!
It span back like it had left Shane Warnes hand. Incredible
As my father used to continually tell me in a somewhat frustrated manner, flukes do happen.
Literally the most interesting thing that's ever happened in snooker
And the whoopie cushion
You don’t quite like the game do ya?
@@sirmoanalot3779 the whoopis cushion was trollstation btw
Balotelli....AGUEROOOOOO.. ohhhhh 0:17
'Watching snooker is my missus favourite past time whether she knows it or not' lol
This is me drunk, playing snooker down the pub!
Only Stephen Maguire could pull something like that off
Highlight of the crowds lives
Ref must be a fan of Mrs brown's boys, the way he laughs at this...
Once in a lifetime!
I’ll give Jimmy White three goes at this and he’ll make it.
Viewed that live, but we don't get to see the cue ball roll up to the pocket until the replay. Shame they didn't use the graphics from 2019 masters where you could better see the forces going on when you have a rare event like this.
What they talking about I do this every time I play snooker at least twice. 😂
Such a bizzare shot it had Neil looking like he interrupted Stephen mid-sodomy
🤣🤣🤣
Someone please put the equations of this into some program and explain us how it can happen please 😁
When the white has a lot of spin, it (1) gives some to the red, that's why the red could change directions after the jump; (2) the white can roll against the cushion as if the table was tilted. (You can see reds doing that in a lot of pots from the cusion e.g. by Mark Williams, he's really skilled in these.)
Unbelievable Jeff!!
Reminds me of Benny Hill playing snooker :D
Best shot - ever!
Nice shot Lampy
very unusual - not sure why he felt he had to hit it quite so hard
You'll never see that again
Finally entertainment in snooker.
That look on Neil's face...
Perfect
It's gonna be long long time before we see a shot like that again
Brilliant shot from stephen
This will be on the next Watts..
Where's the cue ball going! Where's the cue ball going!
That's sum voodoo tactics lol from neil the power of the illuminati lmaoo
That happens every time I take a shot in snooker
From effup to fluke to effup in a few seconds
John Virgo would be impressed!
0:18 "incredible,.........incredible...... well you'll never see anything like that again!" I just re-ran it, re-ran it, re-ran it🤣🤣🤣
For a second I thought Robertson was Boris Johnson lol
Bojo's mandy loving nephew
One in a million!
Still made a 5-1comeback though. Well done.
how exciting

If it wasn't for the commemorators saying look at the balls, i wouldn't know what to do or what had just happened.
Da snooka gods - dey did dis
Larry Scallon the Referee. Ha
Best snooker shot ever!!!!!!!!
Played it like that. Not bad.
Unbelievable. Defies physics! Lol
Actually no, but it's a very rare shot with a bizarre outcome.
@Res Nullius well said. Some people hey 🙄
@Res Nullius Please don't say those mean things, my ego is very fragile and i could even bust out crying after such a berating.
Five seconds of snooker being bearable.
It's a shot many snooker players practice... Every so often it comes off.
For the red to come out of the pocket and then spin back in was amazing enough BUT add to that the white jumping over the pack, hitting the angle of the middle pocket and running up the rail into the top pocket?! Unbelievable!
Hi can you explain to me please: I thought potting the white ball was bad? Lol
@@soundsidecolour aye its bad, that doesnt detract from its impressiveness
@@sirlyon3333 can you elaborate? I recognize it was a bizarre shot but it doesn't necessarily make it impressive if he wasn't trying to do it?
One in a million
the cue ball didn't even hit the jaw of the middle pocket, there was that much spin or side on it it that it slid off the cuhion to the corner pocket.
I’ve done that before
21st century Bobby charlton
Neil Robertsons face is so over the top.. hes acting like he watched an alien give birth or something
For my next trick!!!.....
They cut the camera away from the white ball just as it's about to get to the pocket. Sack the director.
His been practicing, why hit the red so hard 😂
Stephen could have tried this again 3000 times and never would have done it
