I love my new Highlander Platinum as well. My only issue is the wind noise whistling starting a 45 mph. Have you experienced this? I have a case with Toyota Headquarters and my local certified dealer is looking into this, other customers had same issue, and mirroring isolation noise solved the issue. Hope to get this resolved soon… I will get you updated.

Definitely a nice vehicle. I have the Limited. Interior is finished very nice. Great ride and comfortable on long trips. Couple of things that probably could have been done a little better but over all a very nice car in it's class.

@@toyotausa I love all of the upgrades on the interior of the vehicle. The black interior makes the vehicle look so nice, and the view from the 3rd row is amazing with the panaromic sunroof

We purchased a 21 Highlander AWD Platinum Saturday. My question is: does the "miles to empty" only reset if you fill it up from E to full OR is there a way to reset that every time you refill it so it's accurate? My truck was 3/4 full and I filled it up to a full tank today but it still says I have 266 miles to E..it never reset although I turned I turned the car of several times while running errands. How many miles until E should it actually display when the tank is full? When we picked it up from the dealership with a full tank it said 295 miles to E.

Did they forget to add some speed limit signs in the Road Sign Assist????....when I pass 65 MPH signs, nothing appears....I would have thought that any sign between 10 and 70 at 5 MPH increments would have been available....maybe an update is in order.

@@toyotausa The engine power, even in 2005 (220 hp), the features, the reliability, the comfort on the highway driving 2,3,4 hours across several states. I sadly had to sell it due to my parents moving in with me and us having too many cars but I will get another one for sure sometime in the next 5 years.

I’m considering a Highlander, but I have to ask something. With the design talent you clearly have, why is “Eh, just drill two holes and permanently damage the front” the best answer you have to “how should we mount the front license plate bracket?” I live in a 1 plate state, but the higher volume dealers near me all instantly put a bracket on front because they’re in 2-plate states.
I think some ppl use a license plate magnet I’ve seen some Example of it on KZhead

Toyota Highlander is Faster Than a Nissan Pathfinder
A Highlander is very powerful,but I dont know about a Nissan Pathfinder

Does anyone take their "crew" out in a hybrid?
I just purchased a 2021 Highlander Hybrid and have the same fuel filling issues as the Rav4s. The tank is 17.1 gallons and will only take between 12 to 13.6 gallons when the fuel indicator light turns on. This continues after the fuel sending unit was replaced by the dealership. Wish more customers that are having the same issues would report the problem to Toyota & NHTSA.GOV so they are forced to acknowledge the issue and fix it.

In terms of balance of the exterior design, the older version was much better...the new one is just too big, everything is over dimensioned...as if bigger is better! Not a fan..
I have the 2021 platinum in moon dust. I don’t know if you have gotten a chance but the vehicle look stunning in person much better than in pictures. That being said I did like the big five blade Gillette razor grill on the 2019. Also beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I can see why some people prefer the old model and it’s cleaner lines

Toyota = Please make a larger Highlander. I don't want to buy a Kia Telluride, Chevrolet Traverse, or the VW Atlas. I want the AWD, ground clearance, and MPG of a Highlander with more space.
