This time I would like to show an approach towards Keflavik International Airport in Iceland. It is a new destination for our company and I really wanted to fly to this airport. I was lucky enough to have it on my schedule this soon!
Keflavík Airport (Icelandic: Keflavíkurflugvöllur) also known as Reykjavík-Keflavík Airport, is the largest airport in Iceland and the country's main hub for international transportation. The airport is 1.7 nautical miles (3.1 km) west of Keflavík and 50 km southwest of Reykjavík.
The airport has three runways, two of which are in use, and the airport area is about 25 km2. Most international journeys to or from Iceland pass through this airport.
The main carrier at Keflavík is Icelandair, which has the airport as its main hub. During landing and taxi in you see lots of aircraft of Icelandair.

Welcome back captain, I was missing your amazing videos! Iceland is my dream, I hope to go there at some point. I know it can sometimes be very challenging to fly to, due to strong winds and extreme weather, but this time it seemed a quiet approsch into Keflavik. Respect to Icelandair pilots who fly there every day ( and Air Iceland connect, they fly those small props fighting strong winds and landing on short runways ). I really enjoyed the video :) Happy flying

@@Ppeat it was AMAZING! Only there for day and a half but we did a LOT! Rented a car and drive the golden circle and did the Blue Lagoon, and walked around Reykjavik! Best 36 hours we ever spent anywhere!
