When Cano bunted a double I laughed my @ss off I saw that game haha, that's a great example of why the now former ridiculous shifts can bite you haha. 😂😂 and that catcher catching it in his mask was just wow...I saw another play within the past few years where a similar thing almost happened but instead of the mask catching it, the ball actually hit the mask so hard it caused sparks off the foul tip....😮
@MKF30 Жыл бұрын
Too bad there wasn't a baserunner on first when the ball was stuck in the catcher's mask. I can see the runner stealing second and third while the catcher is trying to dislodge the ball. Then again, a quick-thinking catcher may just throw his mask to the third baseman while the ball is still in it. If the third baseman then tags the runner with the ball/mask, he would be OUT, right?
@zanti413211 ай бұрын
@Zanti haha I know right? Would that be even legal to throw the whole mask though? That reminds me of an old Yankee game you probably heard of it or remember, when El Duque fielded a ball and the hit was so hard it literally got stuck in his glove so he threw the whole glove with the ball in it to Tino Martinez who caught it and was an out lol. I don't know if they'd have issues with that now but I'd imagine if not, throwing the catcher's mask with the ball in it should be ok?
@MKF3011 ай бұрын
@@MKF30 Yeh, when I made my post I was thinking of that play where the ball got stuck in the fielder's glove and the fielder threw his glove to first. I can see the play with the catcher's mask causing even more confusion, as an attempted steal isn't a force play and requires a tag. Guaranteed, the manager will run out screaming, "Okay, Ump, maybe he applied the tag in time, but it was with the mask! The ball never touched my player!"

La tercera es faul porque ya había salido, que paso en ese tiempo no había reto?
you include an in the park home run in the beginning…but you don’t include the one by angel pagan huh 🤔
@Zanti haha I know right? Would that be even legal to throw the whole mask though? That reminds me of an old Yankee game you probably heard of it or remember, when El Duque fielded a ball and the hit was so hard it literally got stuck in his glove so he threw the whole glove with the ball in it to Tino Martinez who caught it and was an out lol. I don't know if they'd have issues with that now but I'd imagine if not, throwing the catcher's mask with the ball in it should be ok?
@@MKF30 Yeh, when I made my post I was thinking of that play where the ball got stuck in the fielder's glove and the fielder threw his glove to first. I can see the play with the catcher's mask causing even more confusion, as an attempted steal isn't a force play and requires a tag. Guaranteed, the manager will run out screaming, "Okay, Ump, maybe he applied the tag in time, but it was with the mask! The ball never touched my player!"
@@zanti4132 Yeah I can also imagine the masknunlike thr glove the fielder dodging it since that could be dangerous lol 😆
La pelota en la mascara es out porq la desvio con el bate y la agarro sin q tocará tierra
1:58 voice crack?
I don’t get it. Why was the Mets dugout cleared when the guy made a home run?
Good luck :)
1:52 why is this the best moment in sports history?. 2:59 A real-world Scott Sterling!!!.
Partly because that was his first home run. He holds the record for the oldest first homerun at 44. Especially when he often threw away his at-bats because he would try to stay healthy for pitching
The unit hitting a pigeon with a pitch. I can't believe you didn't have that
This is event that much of one in a million
I will never understand the need to ruin these videos with music.
whatttttttttttttttt
If you are finding it hard to sleep at night, just watch this and I guarantee you'll be snoring in 5 minutes.
Can someone please explain 1:53 please? Was it because he never hits homeruns?
Because he(Bartolo Colon Morales) is a pitcher, and this is his first homerun. Furthermore, he is 42 years and 11 months old. this is a new record instead of Randall David Johnson's. I'm Japanese and too poor at English. Sorry if you couldn't my sentences.
that was his first homerun ever. not only is he a pitcher. but as the reply above me says. he was almost 43 at the time. beating out Randy Johnson who had just turned 40 when he hit his first back in '03.
@@user-lq9wu9hx7i good explanation.
2:04
Once upon a time, a pitcher hitting a hr was wild and rare. Now its common only by sho.
I'm new to baseball and i have no idea what is happening at 0:50
1:58 LOL
1 in a million moment all I see are normal things that we see in every game
8:25... typical Angels play.
8:32 batter just want to say thanks for send a home run for me
1:03 Guy catching the bat, he's a reptillian. No way he's human. 1:19 ALWAYS keep your eye on the ball! Good on you Grandma!!
Click bait...no birds and boring, loud music
Proof that MLB players have to be the best genuine athletes in sports. Look at everything they have to do, and they do it.
some of you just don't get it, it's not that a pitcher hit a home run....it's that it is Bartolo hitting the home run...
why is that special?
Amo a josé ganchoso
Amazing things happen in Cleveland lol
Just wished it didn’t have the music are sound effects

So wheres the Bird Clip? You're intro picture showed a bird in the field but i don't see it in this Video.
where's the bird?
ONE HOME RUN INTO COUNTRY IS VERY DIFICULT BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE. I HAD SEEN TWO HERE IN VENEZUELA.
7:14 if you did not notice the umpire trips its funny
1 in a million MLB moments is anything in the game happening at all.
The thumbnail with the bird in the way it wasn't in the video can we say clickbait
Your music is too loud. Can barely hear the announcers abt what’s goin on in the game
Hey, where is the Video in the thumbnail? This video is deceiving us!!!
The editing is beautiful in this video, should do very well!
No ftxh🐄💩
el baseball es un juego muy bonito
What is "one in a million" about a regular home run? Bartolo Colón went deep, it happens many times every day of the season. Even if it's his only one, he's still an MLB player and it was a regular home run. Good distance though.
1:53-1:56 is what you call perfection. 😅🔥
6:59 WTF was that defense
1:52 The batter: *BwBwBwB!* The catcher: Get in my hands now! The ball: *YEET*
The video would've been better without the music and visual effects
1:13 How wow.
What’s the name of the song in clip one
An inside the park hr is a 1 in a million moment?
1:14 baseball 9😂
Now the title picture is the reason why I don’t like stadiums that have no roof-

Bait and switch. Where is the pix of the ball and the bird?
The batter: Time to swing the ball. The catcher: gotta catch it.. 0:00 The ball: ima end this man's whole career...
The ball hitting the bird is NOT in this montage of clips. For that, a negative review.
4:35
2:23 does this counts as a strike?
