The Knicks are a tenacious bunch who fight for rebounds, loose balls, and steals. You cannot score if you do not have the ball. Lesson: get possession of the damn ball! Every coach and team would be wise to learn from them. I say this as a Sixers fan!
Knicks are a superior team. Period. Talk all you want about “talent,” but when you can’t get anything outside of your big two, you don’t have ish. Paul Reed better learn to stay in the league before he pops off. Kelly Who(?)bre better learn a two-way game before he starts crying and whining. I don't know about that; Quick never had the chance to start with Knicks where Maxey did. Quick is a better defender too. So far as a starting PG with the Raptors, Quick averaged 19 points and 7 assists, as a STARTER for the first time. Next year he'll be better so we have to wait and give Quick a couple of years before we can make that determination.

og actually did play very well with the raptors, precious had a small sample size to be judged but he wasnt that bad in miami as a backup undersized center

The scheme that Thibs used in the 4Q on Embiid all are from NN play book. You need to do your research before you type.

@@trevoncash I have been a at Raptors fans since the organization entered the league ( 29 yrs). The best yrs 2013-2020 NN was here as a head assistant for 5 yrs and a HC for the other 5. Both Pascal & FVV said he was the one that push Casey to give them play timr and also helped Pascal to develop his offensive package. The man wrote a book that speak to him being a shooting coach on many of his stops before he came to the league. Precious best years ib the NBA came on the 2nd galf of the 2021-2022 season why he was given the opportunity to explore his offensive game under NN. Camd back the following season & he became terrible. I am speaking facts. Go back & watch the games then.
I have been a knick fan for 30 years. This is the most complete team we ever put on the court in that time period. Boston and Denver look great, but I think these Knicks can run with anyone.

I told sixers fans NN isnt shit. Kawhi and our deep roster got us that chip. NN got the championship team Dwane Casey was never afforded and since then we watched the decline if our team with 0 player development
Stip it. NN is a great coach & one if the best tactician in the game. He introduced box & 1 vs Steph. Came up with defensive schemes and had players w/ high BB IQ to execute those schemes. Do you recall 2022 playoffs when Scottie was injured in gm 1 vs Sixers. Half the core guys were either out or injured & coached the teqm down 0-3 to come back & win 2 gms & almost tie up series. As a Raps fan, I may have my issue with NN but been a tactician coach ain't one if them. Do you expect him to go on the court and grab rebounds??
@@mollyweir9350 we didn't win a game until Scottie was back and we were down 3-0. NN couldn't win a game with Pascal, FVV, OG, and GTJ. Scottie was the x factor

Pascal was doing all the scoring and NN did the schemes to put the team in position to win 2 consecutive gms and could have tied it up only if everyone not name Pascal could buy a bucket in the 2nd half of game 6. I have my issues w/ NN especially his people management skills last season but I will not be putting him done. He helped us win many games the team had no business wining.

NN had 4 good game plan on Brunson. He allowed him to be a volume scorer and his 1st 2 gms were inefficient while his team mates stepped up. The rebounding & refusal to do the dirty work why Sixers are in this position. The non-Embiid minutes is even more glaring. Reed look lost and offense and act like he is the man but fail to box out or crash the glass. NN is not a player develooment coach but he is one of the best tactician in the league. What Thibs using OG to front Embiid & deny him the ball were already done by NN when he was Raptors coach.

As a big-time sixers fan I don't think people understand how bad that look on TV... brunson getting MVP chants like he was A.I. in 2001...fuk embiid chants not only did the team get punked but the fan got punked....
