What was your favorite style? 💧 🪨 🔥 💨
All😊🎉❤
Corridors Style. you should collab more with them.
EARTH NATION WOOHOO!
Air. He was the funniest.
Bagua or circle walking
Thanks for letting us breakdown Avatar!
I want to make a John Wick style Zombie One take. let me know if you are interested! i am a stuntman and parkourist. and i love speed reloading.
If Avatar: The Last Airbender was R-rated please 🙏🏼
Happy for u guys
That was an awesome short that Gui put together! Really well done.
My favorite crew with my favorite ip.
Fire dood sounds like zuko 😭
I was literally about to comment this lol
exactly lol
Oh good, I'm not the only one who thought he sounded like Zuko. There was a missed opportunity to call him Sifu Hotman
I actually did a double take when he started to speak. They both have the same breathey huskey kinda sexy voice hehehe. Now, I wonder if they(Zuko voice actor) were related😂@jessaminedavis1526
We need another version where we can see the fire, water, earth and air vfx 🫢😭😭😭
Yeah exactly.. This is cool and all but where is the VFX? Isn't that the entire point of it?
That would not really work because they are hitting each other.
Totally disagree :) go watch avatar for pricey vfx- this was choreography pron 🎉 and I say NAILED it proper crew! 👌🤌
Bryan Cartago was a stand-out. I got chills watching his performance, both as an actor and the fighting. He’s someone I’d like to see come back… but actually get some more serious acting jobs. I looked him up on IMDB part way through writing this comment. He’s obviously highly skilled. Hope he gets a Scott Adkins career arc. 🇦🇺 is impressed.
Guys… the title is “recreating fighting styles from Avatar”, not “recreating bending styles from Avatar”. That is why we don’t see any bending here, except for that air guy who blew off the steam from the tea cups. I’d love to see the elemental bending too, but the short is actually so awesome that I just decided to just forget the bending and enjoy the show.
It would have been massively more work to do it all with VFX
Its so nice how we can clearly see those bending movements throught these styles...
Bryan, the fire teacher, was kind of a show-stealer there 🔥.. very nice short! Congrats 😊
Agreed, I got chills and checked out his IMDB. I hope he gets an uptick in his career. He’s definitely a talent that has a charisma that pushes through the screen.
Watching those masters fly through that fight choreography is just amazing.
That crocs shot I'm dying😂😂😂😂
I love how the fire bending guy actually sounds a lot like Zuko
Such reverence. I had tears the second the duel started. Gui keeps getting better side by side with Corridor. A blessing Netflix has taken a chance to collaborate with an amazing team.
I never considered that, focusing on the breathing for each style. That's really clever.
Been waiting for Corridor Crew to look at this show!! I was pleasantly suprised by the short film's choreography, too - it was fantastic! Great job Gui!
Wow Gui, what a vision, and you brought all the right people to help execute it, from the cinematography and stunts, to the music and character writing. 100/100
10:52 The defensive move for Air reminds me of the anime when Aang got behind Zuko in Zuko's ship
This show had some pretty amazing choreography! I love how different each bending style was. 🔥 Is my favorite so far, but I can't wait to see more earthbending with Toph next season!
17:05 Ohhhh, I get it, WATER THOSE
Hell yeah! Go Gui on directing his first short. Was waiting for the 'hit em with it!' haha. Loved this one. The fights def brought back that HK vibe from the films from my childhood.
This was an absolute blast to watch. It had that avatar essence in it through to the end
Congratulations Gui!!! You knocked it out the park!!!
So cool you got to do this punch4punch! Love ATLA and corridor. ❤
What?? Didn't expect Nico/Corridor to collab with Netflix and I'm loving every moment
Nice~ the 4 masters style is so distinct! Even them leaving the tea table is showing the spirit of 4 personality! Amazing short!!!
I love that Gui use jackie chan style of camera work(stable shots), it shows the movements clearly.
I thought you'll add some element bending. Hope to see your (air, water, and fire) bending versions soon!
Having seen all of the people here in action before this made me SO hyped, knowing what they’re all capable of. This is an insane crossover.
Love to see more from the corridor guys!
I hope you upload with The bending visual effects 🙏🏼 it’d be cool!
Very well done. Great choreography, color grading, and storytelling.
amaaziiinnn! ig more and more people are gonna be interested in martial arts from now on!!
Y'all killed this!
Woahh the result is 😍🔥🔥🔥
I said "wow" several times watching that short. Those guys did work!!!
that was amazing i loved how it came together i want a full movie now.
you brought so much talent in one backyard, amazingly done as well!
This was dope. And the score was a nice touch
This was an extremely cool idea.
This was awesome!
That was so dope!
So sad sifu kisu wasn't involved with the live action. That man invented the bending styles from scratch. He was the one that pulled from different martial arts styles to create each bending form while still having them be unique.
MAKE MORE OF THESE EPISODES! Please.
Not gonna lie if I could I'd wanna work for gui as a director that legend is my favorite stunt man
God! This was amazing to watch.
Hope they have a short film showing the 4 elements with vfx😊
I just saw an Acura ZDX commercial with lots of Punch 4 Punch energy. I think you inspired them.
That was such a cool fight.
JAM sessions are a vibe
I liked that little storytelling detail: the water master finished his tea before going into battle: could he give him a little extra advantage? or because he considers water sacred? anyway I appreciated it a lot.
I was wondering why brendon huor looked so familiar, he was in this fanmade naruto short film I've seen years back on youtube 🥹 nice to see him around 😌 this was great
Ohhhh, very cool love the education along with the short film. which of course brought the heat. Yussss
the cuts were great and made the action easy to follow. hate it when there's hella cuts and shaky cam and I can't tell what's happening or who's winning until it's over.
MORE!!!!!!!!!!
Fire: Bajiquan & Changquan Air: Baguazhang & Chang Chuan Water: Tai Chi Earth: Fut Gar & Hung Gar
Thanks for this, haha commenting in case I want to refer later xD
Awesome fight scene! Great job! Even a quick scene like this without vfx was really fun to watch! Great camera work, great distinction between the styles, amazing performers. Well done, Gui!
this is so cool what the heck!
hope you guys make another actors of the avatar react to this!
I like how the comment of water and earth coming together was: "well [...]" and in the end water and fire was: "tea", describing their combination on a meta level :D
i love itt, thats awesome really
Go Gui!
Jackie Chan's Rumble in the Bronx Vibes... or is it Rumble in the Crocs.. 🔥
Loooool y’all had to get the close up of Jerry’s crocs 😂😂😂
Just WOW 😮
💯💯💯❤❤❤this is so surreal i love it wow
Gui has talent
Ayyy that's my friend Seb doing the set photography
AWESOME
Awesome video. I was expecting Corridor Crew to have added in the elements with CGI, though, so that was a bit of a bummer.
Yeah, this is an awesome martial arts short but it’s not exactly ATLA and it didn’t particularly feel like a Corridor production either.
@@LeeChesnalavage I mean, it wasn't, it was a Gui production. It said in the title "fighting styles" not "bending styles". It definitely was ATLA because those are the actual martial arts styles the cartoon and live action both used in developing the bending styles. Next time you watch either show, pay attention to how the people are moving, not just what the elements are doing. And I thought it actually did feel very Corridor, even if it didn't have the usual CGI they're known for. So yeah I agree it would've been cool to see the bending effects, but there's no way they'd have time to add those in the time constraints, and it was still a fun short film either way.
More Corridor Plz
this was so awesome! amazing job Gui and the rest of the team on making this look just like the show.
Corridor!!!
I hope we get to watch this in corridor digitals stunt actors react
this is so huge for the corridor guys!! congrats!!!
Love you guys
Cool!
brendon huor was amazing with bryan. shit was so solid
That fire dude is zuko 😂 his voice is hella similar
I wish we had bending in our real world everyone tells me I'd be an earth bender but I'd so wanna be a firebender either way tho it would be pretty cool
BRENDON HOUR IN ROCKLEE LIVE ACTION
I recognize Brendon Huor from that TMNT Style video by RivenX3i
sad to see video only reach 65,166 views because video is nice and funny
Freaking cool
16:17 16:18 the tea cup shifts hehe thats a tiny mistake.
Yeah, I know they had time constraints, but after "primitive technology" you'd think they would have simple hidden cut/transition shot's like that down and not have a weird shift. Especially since it's the only VFX shot in the whole short. LOL
🔥
16:19 What happened with the teacup there?
6:11 They got Rock Lee to do the rock style! 💪💪
I liked this more than the anime
You guys could easily do VFX for this....
❤
This alone is better than most of the matrix sequels...
"There's two more right?" - Niko 1:30
Thanks ❤for having positive reviews of ATLA ❤Love ❤from the Philippines 🇵🇭🙏🏽💕
17:20 Deym...................................................... just pure action and you got this, see no need for shaky cams just hire stunt performers for lead roles. I'm sure some of them studied acting seriously too even a silent film can do given the right plot!
I'm curious to know what specific styles of Tai Chi and Bagua are used.
Probably the specific style of "Rule of Cool", i.e. a mixed grab bag of whatever works for what you want to accomplish in a scene. I imagine adhering too closely to a sub-style would be too limiting, and not particularly productive when you're already altering the style to incorporate bending
@@SolWake I only ask because I practice those 2 systems. And some of what I saw are similar to what I train in.
I thought they will add special effects 😊
Wind 💀
Anybody else feel that the live action earth bending seemed to lack a lot of the footwork used by the animated series' earth bending?
Hey corridor crew! What follow focus system was Niko using for the filming of Gui’s short?
The one that essentially comes with the Ronin 4D system. DJI has a pretty solid focus system now that incorporates LiDAR for extremely accurate focus pulling.
wait does this mean we get more punch for punch videos?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
