These days, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who didn’t know who these guys were or haven’t heard at least one of their songs. The success of the Bangtan Boys is worldwide, but it wasn’t always like this. You know, I never felt this for anyone not in my immediate circle, especially for a celeb at that. But for them, I feel immense pride and love, the unconditional kind, that you're just happy to see someone succeed because you know they truly deserved it after all the hardships they've overcame. This was beautifully done and so inspirational.. I'm a senior army(67).. Yes, us old folks like them too. I'm just sorry it took me so long to find them. But once I did, I went back to their beginnings, and loved them just as much. To see how far they've come fills me with joy. As for a certain award.. I was disappointed for them but as you said.. they didn't need it to validate them. Their talent & music, already did that. I will forever be grateful for the love, hope, and acceptance they've given to us all. Thank you for this tribute you did for them, more people need to see it.

64 year young Senior ARMY here too! 5 concerts checked off. Also 92 year young Mom has been to 2 concerts. Been ARMY since debut. Actually saw them on the reality show before debut, was hooked then.
I'm just like you,in my 60's & didn't know BTS from the beginning. But once I found them,a big fan forever. I have immense respect for them for their determination and hard work that was added to their natural talents. The love I feel for these young men is like that of a mother with so much pride & rooting for them all the way! Whatever the future holds,I wish for them all lives filled with love and happiness 💜

wow .. this has been a trip and a half with the guys ... so proud of Army world over for the love and respect to them and others globally. Your film has reminded me of how I'm so very grateful they found me and of how they changed my thinking and life, helped me have confidence to chase my dreams even at my age. you don't believe how happy i was when i first heard "my universe" on German radio. I am so proud of my boys and am so thankful for coldplay for considering this collab. My mom is now a baby army thanks to "my universe" she LOVES that song.
I wish the part about each member having written songs for the album in the HYYH section was better worded because people always think you mean it like it's the FIRST TIME they're involved and not that it's the first time EVERY MEMBER is involved.
This video is done really well! Watching this now, i got chills at jimin's intro as he just became the first Korean soloist to go #1 on Billboard Hot 100. These boys are the most talented, hardworking, humble artists I've ever known. Their music & messages hold values more than i could ever explain. Thank you for summarizing their journey until now, BTS & ARMYs still have a long way to go. Waiting for 2025 for their return as a group 💜

I noticed BTS with the “Dynamite” song. And that song was one of my favorites. So energetic and joyful. And then I just started with “I just want to know their names “... and than listening to their songs. And I don’t regret it. Their wonderful music talks it all. These boys are kind, funny lovely and very talented . Even through they’re famous, they’re down to earth.I LOVE them so much. My dream is to attend one of their concert but both Korea and America where they usually have concerts are far from my country. Anyway I wish every ARMY to have the chance to meet them. I’m more on K-drama follower but then I heard this song ‘Yours’ as an OST of K-drama. That’s the beginning... 😅 I checked on who sings it and found Jin whom I really think super gorgeous. ❤❤❤That’s the start where I checked on what group he belongs-and thank goodness I did it. These boys gives positive vibes and happiness and I love them for who they are. Thank you for this video for showing all their achievements and they really deserved it. Who cannot love these beautiful and lovely boys. Even non-army praised them. For all the hates and discrimination they’ve received, they don’t deserved it considering their success was because of their hardwork, passion, and their love for army. That’s why more and more people support and love them.

I have never loved a group as much as I love BTS! As a group and as individuals, they are so inspiring. They have earned all their success through cultivating their immense talent and hard work. The whole world loves them for all the good they represent. Thank you for making this video and for updating the content. As I only became ARMY last year, I really appreciate how you mapped out their timeline of events. This video is definitely one that I will watch several times and send to friends that still need to discover BTS.

As a new Army, thank you for this video!! I love seeing everything they've accomplished! amazing! I regret not giving them a chance when i first heard of them, like you say in the video, i didnt think id like music in a language i didnt speak... i did admire their performances as i watched a couple on award shows, but i never looked them up more... i even saw them at a harry styles concert in LA and didnt glance twice at them enjoying the concert cause i didnt care... i remember the next week they played at the sofi. Now im kicking myself knowing that they wont perform for a while and i could have gone to that (maybe not since i wont pay 42k for a concert but) !! Anyway.. i do hope i get to see them perform live someday! i looked them up recently wanting to see their dance choreographies, and instantly loved their music too! now i try to read korean lyrics with my daughter so we can sing them hahahahah so amazing!!

thanks for this update. the struggle to create a "new normal" becomes easier to imagine with the record of bts struggle - a non-English speaking pop group, a non-white faces to enter to an English dominated entertainment world and stand at the center. The shift is symbolic. what was at the margin is now being honored and praised at the center for indeed BTS did not just represent Korea but the rest of the countries and cultures of the global south.

Eeeekk there just soo inspiring! I went to my first concert and it was to see them in Las Vegas, it was so unreal to see them in person. They all look great and it was just an amazing experience. I'm so proud to be an army like many armies out there.
I got into them because I was going through a issue of depression and their music and videos helped me to get back on track and start to be myself again. I still watch the videos and I have purchased their music and continue to watch them on KZhead every day.

I can’t wait for the 2023 update. So much has happened this year and it’s so exciting! I was beyond happy when renewed the contract w Hitman Bang at the helm. Even though they’ve enlisted their solo work continues to surprise us almost weekly. They’ve prepared so many surprises but the most important thing is their promise to us, ARMY, that they’ll be back with us. I've watched this video multiple times every few years when you guys updated I watch it and I must say every year it has gotten better since the original I want to give you a mad props for always updating this keeping this at a level of like excellent that it's always been but then elevating it so if nobody else has told you this is always been my first introduction to BTS when I was really starting to get to know the guys and it has been educational informative and always true to who the fellas are and where they come from so to new armies who are finding this best experience you're going to have learning about BTS to us old heads it's like going down a beautiful memory Lane that always gets upgraded every time we watch it.

I've been an ARMY since 2017 and watching this video made the cry of their success and still remaining those 7 young humble boys
You can add on your next update Their ongoing solo projects that are showing their versatility and range of skills as artists so that now even those who are not chart followers find themselves surprised as they instinctively feel respect and even awe. Although we all have different tastes and preferences and no one can please everyone all the time in any way, only the most biased and closed off to the unfamiliar will fail to recognize and understand their worth as musicians, song writers, producers, and, in my opinion, much needed messengers of positivity and inspiration. Jin is now in the military soon to be followed by the rest. The reunion in 2025 is likely going to be epic.
Yes, BTS is a team of creative and inspiring people. As a band, they are currently on hiatus due to enlistment. but that doesn't change the fact that they are also doing great as artists and are successful individually. It follows that with the support of ARMY they are doomed to success also in the future. I think this will be a new Era for them and for us.

I am a 68 year old fan of BTS and have been for years, and knew how hard working they are, BUT until this video I never knew just how accomplished they were around the world or all the records they have set.
