Yay for having Bela Fleck on! He's a life long musical hero and inspiration. I doubt I'll ever play music anywhere near as well, but when I was 18 he inspired me to pick up an instrument and I'll be forever grateful
I saw Bela Fleck with his bassist at the time Victor Wooten sitting in with the String Cheese Incident at the Saenger Theater in N'awlins after jazz fest one year (2001 or 2002). It was one of the best concerts EVER~

I’m not vegan, but the other day I had a mushroom Philly that had some type of vegan cheese 🧀 in it. Whatever it was made of, it was creamy with great pull. Tasty too. I thought it was a dairy based cheese and was surprised to learn otherwise. Vegan cheeses have come a long way in the last 10 years. I plan on ordering the sandwich again.
I had fake chicken nuggets made out of mushroom once. Almost as good as the real thing. I miss the pink slime though.
Vegan cheeses are very varied but some of them beat dairy especially in applications like pizza.
If you support local farmers you stand with Elwood’s Organic. I’m exhausted with people pushing back against local food.

My step-grandfather took a dislike to a cat (mind you, this was in the late 1930s) on his farm. He tried dropping it off in town-it was back the nest day. Other farms-nope, it came back. One day he had business in a town 100 miles away. He dropped the cat at the bank in that town. A week later, he gave up. Got up to find the cat sleeping in the rocker on the front porch.

The tape holding the box closed came loose in one spot and the little guy got plenty of air. Knowing cats, he probably got home and immediately started for the food and a nice sunny window.
i do not understand why no one heard him meowing in the box as it was being handled all of that time.

If there was some kind of stuffed cat toy in there making cat noises I would imagine they'd be fired faster than the employee could apologize for trying to do a good thing

The cat liked boxes. It felt most secure in boxes and that's why it jumped in. The big question is why didn't the guy sealing box up look into it first?

I'd love to try that cheese. Follow Your Heart makes Bleu crumbles that are indistinguishable from the dairy version. There are other good vegan cheeses but that is the only one I know that is dead on.
I've seen those, haven't had a chance to try them yet, glad to know they're good!
A company called Noshing make amazing vegan cheeses in Perth, West Aus. Haven't bought any others since I found them 8 years ago. 😋

Wow Bela has gotten gray, I remember when he was a fresh-faced kid in New Grass Revival.
I saw him maybe ten years ago at the Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance in tiny Trumansburg, New York. He was looking just a bit gray and distinguished. The Christmas album with the Flecktones and Tuvan throat singers is amazing. I especially like Jingle Bells sung by throat singers in their native tongue.

If you look into the details of why they were disqualified, one of the reasons was "the cheese isn't available for retail purchase". Well the fact Colbert hot hold of some proves that wrong.

Considering the fact that Amazon returns are just sent to landfill, that cat is very lucky to be alive.

Not everything, I did returns for about 3 months, what can be resold/ rehabbed does!

People buy pallets full of them. It makes up a considerable proportion of my local flea market.
Our animal rescue gets pallets of returns donated to us from Amazon. Better than ending up in a landfill, and helps homeless pets, too.

I have not cared for any blue cheeses I've had, though I have heard that quite a diversity technically exists. Quality cheese is a real treat, bad cheese is a crime against humanity.

I've been to the city of Derby, in the midlands area of England. It's pronounced as 'Dah- be' by the locals. So then Derbyshire would sound something like 'Dah-be-shah'. Yep, to us Americans, it sounds a bit weird.

I was a kid at capitola beach watching the shadow of a gull flying overhead. Something came away from the bird, and splatted next to me. I knew Colbert was going to finish with the bird crapping on someone. Lol
Oh! Their kitty is a chimera! That's pretty cool. Poor thing. Our cats used to love trying to hide in our suitcases but looks like this kitty managed to do what all cats wish they could- And I bet she regrets it!
As a non vegan person, vegan food has come a LONG way in 10 years. I remember my vegan friend would cook up some vegan mac and cheese that smelled rank. Fast forward to today and there are SOOO many good vegan restaurants making everything from corn dogs to cheesesteaks that are legitimately delicious!
