yep, Rising Kingdom is a prequel to all of the story. At the start of the music video you see it rewind through all four of the other songs

Rewatching the finale after the newest video… wow, how I missed this series. Truly amazing
newest series hasn't been confirmed to just be a prequel, but rather a backstory to what led to the events of fallen kingdom, and hopefully an aftermath view, possibly involving the way we see lost city related things, might lead to think POSSIBLY (not entirely sure if this lines up judging the ending with him going to the nether and committing Japanese pilot, but possible their souls might've been taken/lost into a city.)

In Riding Kingdom we see it's just about to start -In the beginning of rising kingdom it rewinds back ALL songs before the new song itself starts -The king is clearly a lot younger than in any other video -In the end we see the king watch over the valley where his kingdom will stand in the future, there are no buildings or ruins so it had to have happened before the kingdom began. -This also gives herobrine a motive to attavk the kingdom in the first place. The king stole from him -Lastly, I'm pretty sure Jardon confirmed that it is a prequel Interesting note about the song though: The lyrics themself seems to be the king in modern day reciting his own memories while the animation itself is a prequel to everything that happened

Oh my gosh. It's hard to put this into words. I just watched this part of the Fallen Kingdom series for the first time today. I've heard Jordan say before that he considered this to be the best part, and I think he might be right. I still need some time to process this video fully, but I believe it made me feel the most shock and amazement of them all. This is _so good_ . I've gotten used to livestreams and quick weekly videos, and while they are also good, _this_ shows how much Jordan can accomplish when he puts months of work into something. This is art, it's extraordinary. I find it better than many, many movies that had much more people working on them, and much more money involved. I feel speechless, and just...different than I was before I watched it. I'm on the verge of tears. It's extremely well done. I'm very glad I decided to take a short break after watching Take Back the Night, this way, I managed to grow attached to the hero's character before watching Dragonhearted. I feel genuinely sad that he died, and surprised that it hasn't been spoiled for me before. I didn't expect his story to end that way. Poor King's son. Poor King. There are so many things right with this video, that it's hard to list them all. The music is brilliant, it fits the action very well. The story is magnificent. The animation is super professional. It all works together so much. Congratulations to everyone who worked on this. Jordan, you're a very gifted person, I hope you never doubt that. Now, I'm off to watch this many, many more times.

@@EpicWafflehouse basically, ever since the first season, the show has been hyping up these villains called the White Walkers, and their leader the Night King. They are ancient beings that can resurrect the dead and create an undead army. There has been a clear theme throughout the show. It doesn't matter who becomes king/queen. If the houses of Westeros don't work together to defeat the night king, Westeros is doomed and everyone will die. So come season 8, what do they do? they kill the night king midway through the season in an incredibly anti-climactic way. The characters then go back to fighting over who becomes king/queen, thus completely undermining the entire message of the show. i haven't even mentioned the Terrible writing, the plot holes, poorly written character arcs and an overall rushed and underwhelming finale. Very very disappointing to see 8 seasons of TV go to waste.
In the end, the way that the king knew that he had just reunited with his son to have him die, *WOW that hits you in the feels*

1:00 I never see anyone talking about the designs of the actual pigmen army. Those flamethrower soldiers are so SICK, wish Minecraft actually had an intelligent and in depth enemy faction. Not trying to be a fun deflater but the piglins kinda were set for the win if not for the plot armour. The piglins had superior technology, an organised chain of command, an actual strategy and logistics network, heavily trained soldiers and a backup plan. A close enough analogy would be that of a ww1 ( minus guns ) power fighting a medivial kingdom. The piglins had ghasts (Aircraft), flamethrowers, that mech guy (comparable to tanks),and a missle . The King doesn't even have and army just a few guards and iron golems at disposable at any time and their expertise is not even close enough compared to the piglins. Yes , he locked up a few piglins and could have used them for Intel but that wouldn't be very useful as the weapons used by the piglins wouldn't even be thought by the king and his cronies leading to vast underestimation of the piglins' technology and firepower. The main defence of the king, the ender dragon and that guy, weren't even remotely aware of the catastrophe and had to come because of a vision or a magic wand. The King's plan had so many drawbacks and holes and depended a lot on coincidences (possible scenarioes eg, getting killed in the end, not being able to divert the missile etc) ,the piglins would win if they failed in even one of these scenarioes. I nearly cried thinking about how awful it must have been for the Fallen Kingdom king to lose his son the day he got him back while for the son, seeing his dad and old home again probably made him so happy that he was ok with his life ending that day

I really want the next video to be about his son somehow surviving the final encounter in the nether, fighting his way back to the portal only to find it closed. He sits defeated, then thoughts of his old master and life flood his mind, as the spirit of his master returns to help him back to his feet before the creatures surround him, and reconnects the portal back to the outerworld for him. He doesn't want to leave, he wants to ask so many questions, but his master tells him to leave through the portal. The next scene is the son approaching the father as his father grieves at his grave for him, as they reunite, his smiling master's spirit smiles down at them from the blue sky.
The way to tell if a story is good is if the story truly invigorates oneself and actually has enjoyment given and gives the "feels." This story did all of that.

I always find myself coming back to this song. The whole series tells a powerful story that i absolutely love. All the emotions shown are incredible and are enough to make anybody cry, including me. This is truly a masterpiece
My mind is desperately trying to think of a way the Prince could've survived. But even in that final zoomed out shot, you can still see him on the missile if you turn the quality up. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time he survived an explosion? And there's some necromancy shenanigans going on, so maybe something weird happened? I think it would be cool to have a sequel with the Prince waking up in the Nether, and having to survive and find a way back to the Overworld, where he can reunite with his father and finally enjoy some time as crown prince. Alternatively... Yes, something weird happens with the necromancy magic, but it isn't good. The zombie Prince then stumbles through a tiny nether portal, the only one left, and back to the kingdom, kills the dragon if it's still around, and the King has to fight his own son, who still has all his combat skills. The battle ends on the bridge where the Queen died, and as the Prince dies, he regains his consciousness, and the King holds him, as opposed to the ending in Fallen Kingdom where he fled.
The fact that the endermen crawl just makes this more epic

That could happen, as we never saw the prince truly due (only the missile hit the castle). There is also the Wither Skeleton King, who might be still alive
