Never feel like you have to apologize for bugs. It’s not your fault the game has issues! If the roommate thing bugs out, could you just have all the tiny townies in the same household and you just play your active person? Whatever you do, I’ve really been enjoying this series! One of your best yet! (Edited for spelling error)
I started this challenge the other day. Instead of messing with For Rent or the vault (since that adds to bills), I had the first sim purchase a retail lot and then transfer her funds there when I moved to the second sim. Any money she earns gets transferred to the retail property and any of her expenses gets transferred from the retail property. I switch to my first sim every once in a while to make sure she is at least taking care of herself, but I’m focusing on my second sim. So far so good, though I’ll will be testing my nerve when I get to more than three sims 😂. The retail property is also where I have my sims set up their selling tables rather than using the actual retail gameplay.

You can give the mini sheep and mini goats the hay feeder and just fill it up. It's 30 simoleons to fill each of them. I bought 2 of them and made a community mini farm. Im so glad for the next episode. I've been anticipating!! ❤
I think the rubbish bin was blocking one of the kitchen counters, and that might be why Beatrice was putting the food on the floor. I absolutely love this series and think it’s a fantastic idea.
This is such a fun challenge! Frank was first for me. Super quick due to gardening. He put up a shed and a community garden. Beatrice enjoyed creating her market and community tables in the shared area so everyone can sell their wares! She also built up a little outdoor kitchen. Opal is up now, she’s dumpster resourced a nice bathroom for everyone and added lights and deco. She’s also adding a market table. Looking forward to who’s next!

Beatrice was so sweet! I feel like she absolutely needed to have some plants inside and a pet cat. Cottage aesthetic just screams plants, which obviously there were a bountiful of plants outside, but none inside. And she needs a cat to keep her company and help take care of the barn animals.
This is exactly the type of cozy game play I love!! This might not sound cozy, but I had three occult women move into a big rundown home. There was a vampire, spell-caster and a medium/ ghost hunter. We could only renovate it by selling crafted items. We sold potions, jewelry and novels, i know that not technically a craft but I liked to pretend she was writing about ghost hunting. The grand mother who did the ghost hunting became obsessed with ghosts and actually became one! It was so cool! The house is so witchy and beautiful now. The grandma was depressed and lonely so she married Santa Clause. I have not been this excited about a family in a long time! Anyway watching you build up this tiny town is giving me the same kind of excitement!
I love how at 11:36 she is feeling like an underachiever and then when you give her a pep talk she becomes confident!
I am enjoying this challenge, ty Deli. I got Frank Stem to start, selling his flowers he met his match, unexpectedly, and fell in love! He married Nawai and she lived on the lot next door. She wanted to be closer and kept talking about moving in. Just before the birth of their child, she did so I used the wheel and Gem was to be my next....so welcome Gem Stem and their baby Jade Stem!! Frank's money went into the safe and they all reside in Frank's micro home. Gems money will build a micro addition using her color and style.

The bugs in the sims 4 are getting crazy. So many packs are just not playable. I’m glad you found a work around and I love this series!!!
When i started this challenge i wanted to have everyone at once for extra mayhem. Beatrice and Frank are an couple as are Opal & Ziggy and Azure and Annie. Each sim has to help eachother with their occupation. Frank has a community garden, Ziggy has 10 sheep for wool, Beatrice wanted chickens for baking. For the others i made a photo, spa and painting studio. It worked out quite well and without to many buggs
I loved Beatrice but so excited for the next resident! Happy to see Ms. Fluff made the chimken team! ❤ unrelated but that dusty blue color looks beautiful on you, Deli! Love to you, James, Bowser and Ms. Fine

I was a baker for a bagel shop for a while, and your comment about how hard being a baker and having to go to bed early in order to get up early had me giggling, because while I DID have to wake up by 4 am, i didn’t go to bed before midnight a single time the whole duration of my employment. I’d just nap when I got home

This challenge and Jame's mermaid episode of his occult challenge made me want to play in Sulani like ACNH! It's so much fun!
To make the challenge more difficult, everyone should master the main skill involved with their focus as well as a secondary skill that no one else has. That skill can only be profitable after mastery. Then once that happens, they can purchase a secondary lot for a new group of people.

Perhaps this could go with what I was thinking; Sims must get the job related to their skill. More of a challenge with less time to build the skill.
I’m already doing this but only with the main skill not a secondary skill (unless it’s something like cooking and gourmet cooking then I had Beatrice max both)
I apparently have the golden game because the only bug I have ever experienced is the one where my Sim ignores the "List on Plopsy" command. But that was fixed by just deleting and replacing the mailbox. I own all packs so I totally thought I'd have at least some of the bugs people are complaining about

@@PeopleStream no, I play on a desktop Windows pc. I used to play on a MacBook about a year or two ago and also didn’t experience any issues

I just wanna say how much I enjoyed that fun part around 25:00 where you go on a clutter building spree and just put all these cute items everywhere, "Oooh I love these ones. And these ones." It definitely made me smile. 😊

I do think they missed an opportunity to grow wheat, have a mill that turns it into flour. Cheese making with milk, different types of cheese. Or a churn to make butter.

I feel like it's not even close to MWS. At least I haven't heard most can't even use the main point. 🤔 It's unfortunate it glitched for this challenge.
@@AutobotSimmer I think when it comes to glitches it can be very hit or miss. Some people seem to have no issues with MWS and some do. Perhaps For Rent isn’t on the same level of MWS but compared to the other expansion packs it seems to have experienced some very game breaking glitches that affected not only the main feature (Residential Rentals) but also other things. For that reason it is the EP version of MWS to me lol. But again everyone has their own experience. I’m sure many don’t have any issues and I know there have been some fixes. But that fact that Deli had to change the lot from being a Residential Rental simply because it wouldn’t function properly is a huge red flag. It shouldn’t be breaking her lot to the point she couldn’t interact with anything or anyone on it. 😭
I love the chickens and I had never seen the tea set before. My Beatrice is 100% getting that added. Also, thank you for mentioning the roommate. For Rent has been difficult to play with - the back to back charity and adoption drives were getting tedious.

Most of my Tiny Town characters have their backyard as a public area. Beatrice's is a pool/picnic area for me.
I wanna live in Beatrice's house lol! So cute. I think you can get a horse feeder for the sheep and goats and they will eat from it. I'm not sure if prairie grass works as well. The problem with the game is they keep adding packs and not fixing what they have to fix. I remember this happening in Sims 3 and I got so frustrated I stopped playing it. Don't apologize for bugs isn't your fault. Love ya girl kisses for Bowser and Frani ❤❤❤
The goats can eat from the hay feeder or the prairie grass i think, so Beatrice doesn't have to hand feed them
Have been loving the challenge myself as well. Not to many bugs for me just yet. I have Beatrice, Azure, Frank and Annie so far. I think Franks will be finished soon and then I'm moving on to whoever the wheel tells me to. This is the first challenge I feel I will actually finish

@@deligracyAnnie was a lot of fun. The freelance photographer career is a little buggy with multiple sims not posing for either a long time or not at all. But after a reload of the game it seemed to fix itself. Shes currently wirh caleb, they got alomg so well 😂. Loved stylinf her house, but the reds in game are not it, so used cc 🙈
I started yesterday and played for like 8 hours straight, got Azure and the Gardening/floral guys houses built! ♡ I love it.
Yeeey, love a new episode! 🖤 If the animals care becomes too much, maybe you can create an animal caretakers club or pop the coop to the middle so other sims can also contribute and take care of them ☺️ I am on my last sim now which is by far the most difficult (Giggi Giggles as I do not have the photography career pack). The one thing that gets a tricky once you have 3-4+ houses is keeping up with the broken things 😂 Literally broken sinks toilets showers everywhere!! Still though, loving the challenge, thinking about 7 other potential SIMs to do another one when I finish 😂

There was a cafe/coffee shop in Fremantle I'd go to, that had a small community garden out back. So, the little add-on for Beatrice's place is a great idea!
I've been feeling uninspired in Sims 4 lately but the algorithm brought me to your channel and these videos and I'm having so much fun with this challenge! I got Frank as my first sim and it is taking forever to make money but I'm having a blast

The bug where your Sim is unable to interact with anything, it is because your Sim has randomly been labeled a neighbor even without the tag. I had this issue as well and looked it up online. It has been reported and there are two fixes. 1. Leave the lot and go back. This would work well with two sims. However, it should work with one Sim. 2. The interaction of "send everyone home". This fix requires two sims.
I tried this and it didn’t work :(

When I bought furniture and decorations for my house last year, I genuinely thought about stuff I saw in the Sims and tried to find it in real life. 😂 I succeeded in some things!

I may have (or someone else) already suggested this, but the SNB Bank mod would be perfect for this challenge. All sims in the household can have their own bank accounts and there can even be a joint one that the bills come out of.

Well, we all know that the For Rent pack is bugged, and it was good of you to show all of us who don't have the pack, how you are handling it otherwise. The vault is a good idea. When I was playing Discover University, I had a problem with roommates who kept moving out. I am hoping you get Ziggy next to show us how to make oodles of simoleons, because I have been struggling with him. He seems to take forever to knit. And also the build type mid-century. Would that be a kind of 70s vibe? I started with Frank and he was only allowed to plant and harvest flowers, and he had a thriving floral business. I made a greenhouse and floral stand for his lot. For the mini goats and sheep, they can use the hay feeder (for horses), and you fill it with prairie grass. Just love, love, love this challenge.
Yes, I found Ziggy really hard also and I had to get to a certain level before he could sell on Plopsy and he always wanted to do cross stitch.

It's funny that you brought up Beatrice getting with Frank. In my game they actually did get together and they had a little girl. Sadly tho Frank died of old age right after she was born. Also the insane For Rent bug that everyone keeps getting are ridiculious but ever since all the updates I haven't had any bugs with it. Hopefully you get it sorted out soon!

You should bake pies! I made so much money selling pies with the home chef hustle pack. Sometimes a sim will buy the whole pie for like $800-$1000

omggg i thought it was just my gameplay that was being weird! For Rent is such a good pack in theory and would be so helpful but... it IS the Sims 4 at the end of the day LOL
The more I think about it, complicated systems like For Rent and MWS should have been added earlier. Unfortunately I do think with everything that's added to the game, 8 years should have been the limit. 4 hit year 9 and oof. It's a good idea they've decided to extend the duration. I know it's unpopular thinking that it's not about getting more money out of us because I think we'd be spending the same amount in total, but we'd be on Sims 6 if they continued the 4 year life cycle.

Absolutely loving this challenge you’ve created and especially the cottage tiny home build! I’m kind of relieved you stopped the For Rent settings as I haven’t got it yet hearing it was a bit buggy! Interested to see how you transition the household to keep the roommate settings though!

I love having simple living lot trait on so it seem more realistic and my sims can shop for groceries
I feel like the animals in this tiny house will need to be cared for by future residents due to For Rent not working and the active sim "technically" owning the whole lot. Perhaps you could hire a ranch hand and get free services for future residents, so the burden doesn't fall on you while also struggling with the Yarn dude xD *EDIT TO ADD* Your bed looks angry lol 30:16
