Chelsea survived a huge scare before drawing one of the most entertaining Champions League games ever to seal a 7-5 aggregate win over Liverpool and book a semi-final against Barcelona.
Guus Hiddink's team led 3-1 after the first leg at Anfield (Watch Here: • Liverpool vs Chelsea (... ) but Fabio Aurelio's free-kick after an awful misjudgment from Petr Cech and Xabi Alonso's penalty put Liverpool in control at the break.
Jose Reina fumbled Didier Drogba's deft touch into his own net and Alex's thunderbolt free-kick leveled the scores on the night.
The tie looked finished but Liverpool were not done yet. Lucas Leiva's deflected strike was quickly followed by Dirk Kuyt's near-post header with Liverpool needing one goal to go through on away goals. But Lampard converted Nicolas Anelka's pass to level at 4-4 in the final dramatic action of a truly memorable game of football.

I Miss this Drogba performance
I john Terry didn't slip,they could've lifted their first CL trophy in 2008 and they could've enter the final again the following year(which is on this video). But unfortunately,Uefalona happened..lol We could see Chelsea vs manu in the CL final twice consecutively. PL clubs were something else back then
I remember watching this as a kid on ITV and I was so upset by the end of it, as Liverpool got knocked out, but looking back now, Chelsea really did deserve to go through
