And that was just to get to OT where they needed to get a TD....They did all those things. This was the greatest Super Bowl I've ever seen. We witnessed a legendary comeback that will be talked about forever.

The Patriots followed the most basic rule in sports.. Don’t give up.
Chef C The Patriots were starting to get something going on offense until that pick-6 happened and were able to get a FG at the end of the half. Then came the extended halftime because of the SB halftime concert, the Patriots did simulate that situation during the lead up to the game when Bill Belichick took the players off the practice field and straight into the locker room and told them he was simulating how to get themselves ready for the extended halftimes which could be up to 30 minutes which occurs in a Super Bowl so they know how to stay physically ready especially with all the stop and starts that happens in a Super Bowl. The Falcons offense had not been on the field for almost 70 minutes in real time when they led 14-0 in the second quarter and then they first got possession up 21-3 in the third.
And that's exactly what they need to do these next few weeks.

It was my first NFL match and since I am living in Germany (the game started at like 1 am) and me being tired after the 3rd quarter (everyone was saying that it's over) I just turned off and I probably missed one of the greatest comebacks in Sports history.

Still my one of most defined childhood memories, little 8 year old me, my dad allowing me to stay up late to watch it with him and his friends, I remember how mad they were at half, he offered for me to go to bed but I decided to stay up. I was watching this game at a party at my GF’s friends house in NY… enemy territory. Half time comes around. All the Jets/Giants fans are rubbing it in my face, saying this game was done. In my heart, I knew they were probably right… but I had to rep my people, my fellow Massholes, my fellow New Englanders. I told them: “If anyone can overcome this, its Tom Brady. Mark my words.” They all laughed at me. Well sure enough, just like I said: if there was anyone in the history of sports, let alone football, who could accomplish such a miraculous comeback, it was Tom Freaking Brady. On behalf of all of New England, I laughed in the faces of everyone at that party. The silence in the room as I literally cried out of joy was simply perfection. GO PATS!

Generally because when teams hold huge leads and allows a 20+ point comeback...its a choke job. Seattle had the best defense and allowed brady to just march to erase a 14 point lead and then obviously, the call for a pass play that destroyed the hope for a back to back. I always believe its a combination of both in these kind of situations. Brady and the crew still had to make the plays and the falcons (being the number 1 offense) failed to score a field goal to win the game.
