    • @@zigzag942 Curry 2nd all time with his 0 FMVP’s 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Come on now...when he leads a finals series for both teams in point, assists, rebounds, blocks,steals or wins FMVP. Without Kyrie and love getting hurt in 2015 and KD joining after they blew a 3-1 lead in 2016 to make it completely mismatched = 0 rings. But hey the salary cap bump that year and the 🐍 colluded just right for him to grab 2 rings after his 1st, beating a team missing their second and third best players. It is what it is though, he’s a champ but nowhere near 2nd greatest all time.

LeBron and the Cavs giving Cleveland a title after 52 years was greater than the three losses. Obviously not historically, but just in the manner in how they did it. That Warriors team is a top 10 all time team even without a title, like the 2007 Patriots. But they lost to a team of destiny.

    • What's even crazier is that the greatness and destiny of this Finals tied and succeeded the 2013 Finals-the motion of Bosh's rebound to Ray Allen's all time biggest shot already. This also greatly goes to the Spurs and Warriors' testament, I don't know how they could beat such top all time teams like those two. Two very similar but especially top all time Finals.

    • If only everyone defended him like that the whole season, he wouldn't have had such a crazy season. It doesn't matter who you are you should always defend like that every game. Goes to show how little effort 90% of the players put in on defense in the regular season. Just saying. Curry was just part of a 5 man crew when it came to the finals because the cav's D actually know how to defend and guard. Also, a bit off topic but people have to stop giving full credit to James.. it's a 5 man team and everyone did their equal part. Calling him a king is ignorance at its finest.

    • @@Tofuey HAHAHA so just because lebron's heat didnt perform as well as the self-made warriors team (which was formed organically until KD joined), it wasnt an overpowered super team? What a ridiculous thing to say

      @harbear7325@harbear73255 жыл бұрын
    • @@Tofuey careful calling people retarded when your opinion is horse shit. Lebrons heat was literally built for the purpose of unbalancing and dominating the NBA. That is why i lost a lot of repect for him when he did that. The warriors 2015 championship and their 73-9 season was so awesome because it happened out of the blue and with players you would never expect to produce like that. KD ruined that when he joined because he was doing what lebron was trying to do back in 2010. Dont you see the irony in your comment that is on a lebron video smh

  • I came back here after seeing Klay talk about this game on All The Smoke. I ended up watching the whole video and tearing up all over again when I saw those moments after the final buzzer. There's just something poetic about seeing Bron break down on the court in tears, surrounded by teammates, loved ones, cameras, reporters, etc. and then Ty Lue sitting alone on the bench, sobbing into a towel. Two men who had been doubted by the media so much, especially that year against the 73-9 Warriors, had just gone to war together and WON, against all odds. It was an incredible finals--not just for Cavs fans, but for fans of the NBA.

  • Watching this five years later and I still can't believe it happened. After decades of torment, to finally win a championship still feels surreal. The day I flew into Cleveland for the parade, I got laid off from my job (knew it was coming but still) then went to the casino and won TWO Royal Flushes playing video poker. Paid for the whole trip and then some. Dang. That was some serious Cleveland magic that day. And now the Browns are flexing. The world is upside down and it's beautiful.

Graduated HS in 2016, got closer to my first and only love, got my first job, bought my own car for the first time, met my friends who are big artists and we still remain friends, summer 2016 was the best summer and this incredible game happened. Much respect to Curry for being the only one on the court after the game congratulating everyone especially when he was the last one that could have won this game, love that dude. Much respect to Kyrie, how he played was so underrated and the Cavs wouldn’t have won if it wasn’t for him, still one of my favorite players and not just cuz of that but I love his name so much I’ve always planned to name my future son Kyrie after him. Obviously much respect to LeBron, we know he won those rings with 1 of the best if not the best trios in Miami but this ring felt like the first and hit us all different, Cavs haven’t got a ring in 52 years and LeBron came back and kept his promise. As a Portlandian, I hope Dame does this 🤍

The Cavs winning this Finals was already gonna be a legendary moment because of the 3-1 deficit, their near-century long drought, and Lebron's promise to Cleveland. That dunk would've been just as iconic as MJ's final shot as a Chicago Bull imo
