  • This is the best live song I have ever heard. Probably better than the recorded one. The fact that the drummer is the lead vocalist and sings just like in the recorded version or probably better, blows my mind. Mad respect!

  • This is the reason I started playing guitar in the 70’s when I was 12 years old. Turning 60 soon, 6 kids 8 grandkids later, still playing guitar, teaching three generations after me guitar and it all began with this song on this album many moons ago. Thank you Don and Joe.

  • I’m 71. I loved the Eagles when they hit the airwaves. I wasn’t even 20 at the time. I just watched this video and appreciated the magnitude of this composition more than ever before. It truly is a classic piece of music.❤❤❤❤

  • Not many bands sound as good live as they do in the studio, but Eagles were able to take an already perfect song like Hotel California and make it sound even better live. This is one of the best live performances ever and I'm not sure if any band will ever come close to how great Eagles were again.

    • I was born way later than this song came out, I came out in '82 (Respect, mom!). I have learned a lot of my English through songs and reading lyrics. Eagles were some of the best songs that I recall. The son of the host family we stayed with was very keen on them and we kinda got hooked into that music along the way too. Но и роднoй русский не забываем - читаем, помним и пишем. Признаюсь честно, писатель от руки с меня не важный на любых языках - привык писать ерунду на клаве.

  • This was in 1977, we're in 2023 now and yet it's so hard to find artists who can sing live that well! I'm a guy who is into almost all genres of music. Blues, jazz, rock, dance, hip-hop, raggae, trap, rnb, you name it, if it sounds good, i like it, but this piece right here is special. Defenitely holds a spot in my top 10 songs of all time.
