Natural Science Society Dobříš
The Dobříš Natural Science Association was founded in 2021. However, we have been carrying out joint activities since 2016.
The main goal and mission of our association is the protection of nature and landscape, especially the protection of wild birds and their environment, research and public education.
We are mainly interested in birds, but other groups such as amphibians, butterflies and rare plant species are also in our focus. We try to spread awareness about their life and distribution not only in Dobříš region and to promote nature conservation in general.
We carry out ornithological research, including monitoring of selected species, bird ringing and support the care of species and sites of interest.
