ХК Кузбасс Кемерово
Hockey club "Kuzbass" was founded in 1948 under the name "Shakhtar".
For two seasons in a row, in 1954-55, he won the RSFSR championship. In 1972 it was renamed into Kuzbass. In the Major League of the national championship he has been playing since the 1955-56 season (except for the 1985-86 season).
Today the Kemerovo club is consistently among the strongest teams in the country. The team's players regularly play for the national team, and the children's hockey school is the largest in the country.
