I played Alto Saxophone in my school band for several years, but like many teenagers I had other things on my mind and quit playing. Over the years, I've regretted that decision many times. I picked it back up a few years ago, but life and work kept impeding my practice time. I finally decided I wanted to play again for myself. It's July, 2022, and I've been back at it now for a little over a year. I plan to keep practicing and playing this time around; although, work and life continue to present me with challenges to get my practice time in. Slow and steady wins the race. It may take me a little longer to hone my skills than other people, but I'm determined to get there.
