RoneyBoys, a singing/songwriting/production team of brothers, moved to Southern California from their Kansas home in 2009.
Bruno Mars tweeted a video of Ian singing “The Lazy Song” in 2011, which pretty much launched his career. Bruno Mars went on to perform at the Super Bowl multiple times and achieved numerous hit records.
Meanwhile, RoneyBoys were discovered by the production team Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who currently mentor them. They have performed on-stage with El DeBarge, BabyBash, Switch, and opened for Boyz II Men, Kelly Rowland, and Michael Bolton.
RoneyBoys released a trilogy of EP's titled "SouulBoogie" (2019), "Warm Summer Nights" (2019) and "Start It Right" (2020), a tribute to the nostalgic era's of Soul/R&B from the 70's, 80's and 90's. In 2022, they released the single "Wait 4 U," in collaboration with B. Howard. They are currently wrapping up a project with BabyBash.
