Established in 2011, Full Contact Contender began with a simple mission statement: To provide the UK’s amateur mixed martial artists with a safe, competitive, and professional platform on which to showcase their skills.
In the years that followed FCC did just that, hosting some of the UK MMA scene’s most legendary and talked about amateur bouts, before eventually welcoming professional fighters into the fold.
As the fight cards and crowds got bigger, so did the dream. What began as a showcase for athletes from the North West’s vibrant fight scene evolved into one of the UK’s best and brightest stages for amateur and professional fighters alike, highlighting athletes from all four of the home nations, Europe, and beyond.
Over a decade has passed since that first show and with 36 action-packed events in the books, FCC continues to operate as one of the UK’s leading domestic promotions.
