this really brings me back to the first time I played pokemon emerald and didn't realize I could go left after the rival battle so I was stuck on the first area long enough to evolve my starter

I did worse, i kinda never knew there was an elite 4. I kinda skipped through every dialogue, trained my Groudon and Blaziken to lvl 74 and THEN realized the giant waterfall someday. Then i got surprised that there is still content left, then oneshotted the entire Elite 4. Good memories.

i just started the video and i remembered the second elite 4, she has sableye and there are no super effective moves on him until the sixth generation
Status moves bypass wonder guard, so sableye can be hit with foresight+fighting move. This is the only way to hit Sableye and Spiritomb for SE damage before gen 6.

In a fire red randomizer this happened where sableye got wonder guard and it was with one trainer on nugget bridge so it was required, and we didn't have any status moves. :(

I like how this channel does challenges that are not always off-the wall hard or meme-y. One of the best variety for challenges on any channel I follow.

Remember everyone Fire, Flying, and Fighting is perfect coverage Almost every single fire starter gets access to all three with an extra slot for buffs or support or another attack for more super effective hits Steel Dark Fighting Is also perfect Coverage, so if you get like a Lucario who can learn all three in physical and special (High Jump Kick (egg move)/others, Meteor Impact, Crunch (egg move), with swords dance will clean house pretty easy. Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, and I forget the name of the Steel Special Attack Lucario can learn work well with any special attack buff lucario can learn. But any pokemon who can learn steel, fighting, and dark gets perfect coverage alongside most fire starters They are pretty good sets for 3 move full coverage, but 4 move full coverages can obviously do much better in this challenge, just good to know for normal play Also; Cynthia would raise hell in this challenge (but she is not in this title), with Spiritomb only having one weakness and Lucario only having 3 the fight could easily become hell without proper setup. The rest of her pokemon will still be challenging but they are not excessive Wonder Guard Walls like those two would be.
