Supposedly, Batman's no-killing rule is that he doesn't trust himself to kill. Like he thinks if he starts he won't be able to stop. Of course, the REAL reason he has a no-killing rule is that so the writers can keep re-using villains.

Talia and Ra’s have a purposely ambiguous ethnic background where Ra’s can be of Arabic, Berber or Persian descent and white descent while Talia sometimes has Asian heritage from her mother or is just as ambiguously Arabic as Ra’s.

I love the voice acting of Alfred. That little crack in his voice when he said "but sometimes, master Bruce, terrible things just happens". You can feel in his voice, that he is not just a butler, but a family member of the Wayne family. He mourn with Bruce. I also love his multiple role in Bruce life. He is a butler, a father figure, a teacher, caretaker, a friend. All in one. Who always support the one he love.

Yeah, that line from alfred got me too I was going to post before looking to see if anyone else noticed and saw this. The warble in his voice on that line just made it sound heartbreaking. Someone in this thread said everyone needs an Alfred, but I think everyone should try to be an Alfred. Not like devote your entire life to someone, but to always be there for people you care about. It's a hard thing to do, I don't do it...

Well most comics Thomas didn’t know cause he was someone they couldn’t reason with. Whether it’s because they exist in that continuity or not but in the ones they’re in they killed Thomas by hiring Joe Chill to make it look like a mugging. They did a variation of that in The Batman 2022 but instead used Falcone instead of the court.

He'll fill out with age, but a good mentor/guidance is all that is needed to eventually curb that attitude for the better. Hence why Alfred will always love and care for Damian as one of his own, despite his origin. Y'know how many times Alfred tried to stop Bruce from getting himself killed? Damian is the spitting image of his father, both robbed of a proper childhood, both terrified and both simply just trying to do their best based off the values and morals they were raised with.

I love how in most Batman media, they show Joe Chill as a man who just made a giant mistake. In the comics, Chill made multiple letters to apologize to Bruce, but they were never sent, and when Joe Chill was dying, Bruce stood beside him, accepting his apology and being the only one by Joe Chill's side in his dying moments.

While I think the Court of Owls is one of the best and most intriguing stories to come out of batman in recent memory, I do enjoy when things just happen, and theres no plots behind it. I see Court of Owls as an interesting "what if", "what IF" there was a secret society that not even Bruce Wayne, a billionaire philanthropist who's also an insanely smart detective knew existed the whole time? it's an interesting concept, but I do like it when people are just "nobodies" who inspire others, because that just happens sometimes.

Alfred is the Batman’s Batman. He’s the cornerstone of the whole story without which the entire thing crumbles. I think it’s worth noting that while I’ve seen a bad Joker or a bad Batman, I’ve never once in everything I’ve watched seen a bad Alfred.

I love the voice acting of Alfred. That little crack in his voice when he said "but sometimes, master Bruce, terrible things just happens". You can feel in his voice, that he is not just a butler, but a family member of the Wayne family. He mourn with Bruce. I also love his multiple role in Bruce life. He is a butler, a father figure, a teacher, caretaker, a friend. All in one. Who always support the one he love.

Yeah, that line from alfred got me too I was going to post before looking to see if anyone else noticed and saw this. The warble in his voice on that line just made it sound heartbreaking. Someone in this thread said everyone needs an Alfred, but I think everyone should try to be an Alfred. Not like devote your entire life to someone, but to always be there for people you care about. Well most comics Thomas didn’t know cause he was someone they couldn’t reason with. Whether it’s because they exist in that continuity or not but in the ones they’re in they killed Thomas by hiring Joe Chill to make it look like a mugging. They did a variation of that in The Batman 2022 but instead used Falcone instead of the court.

He'll fill out with age, but a good mentor/guidance is all that is needed to eventually curb that attitude for the better. I love how in most Batman media, they show Joe Chill as a man who just made a giant mistake. In the comics, Chill made multiple letters to apologize to Bruce, but they were never sent, and when Joe Chill was dying, Bruce stood beside him, accepting his apology and being the only one by Joe Chill's side in his dying moments.
Joe Chill made Bruce the man he is. For better or worse. And despite what happened to his parents, Batman did just as much good that he might not have done otherwise. The justice league wouldn't been the same. Maybe even defeated. Dick would have gone to foster care. The titans wouldn't have formed. Jason, Tim, Barbara. Fight apocalypse, magic and more!
While I think the Court of Owls is one of the best and most intriguing stories to come out of batman in recent memory, I do enjoy when things just happen, and theres no plots behind it. I see Court of Owls as an interesting "what if", "what IF" there was a secret society that not even Bruce Wayne, a billionaire philanthropist who's also an insanely smart detective knew existed the whole time? it's an interesting concept, but I do like it when people are just "nobodies" who inspire others, because that just happens sometimes.
In the comics Joe was also Hired by the Court.. he felt bad for Bruce and that's why he wrote the letters.

Alfred is the Batman’s Batman. He’s the cornerstone of the whole story without which the entire thing crumbles. I think it’s worth noting that while I’ve seen a bad Joker or a bad Batman, I’ve never once in everything I’ve watched seen a bad Alfred.
