Nadal withdraws from his Wimbledon semi-final with Kyrgios 💔 While we won't see Nadal vs Kyrgios for now, what's your favourite match they've played?
Acapulco 2019
Rome 2016 🏆
The irony is still priceless that official Tennis TV is sgut out from Grand Slam footage. Makes this look pretty amateurish as a whole, like a work in progress. I guess next time Medvedev screams "This is going on Tennis TV bro", he has to think first which tournament he is playing.
@@Ivanatis "Amateurish" is uploading a comment with "sgut" in it.
My favourite Nadal vs Kyrgios matches to watch are Acapulco 2019 and Indian Wells 2022. They both have epic and classic matches especially with the Acapulco 2019 match. It was intense, full of drama and entertainment. I can't wait for Djokovic vs Kyrgios Wimbledon Final. Full of awesome and entertaining Tennis. 🥰🌟🎾
Such a shame Nadal had to retire. But I can't wait to see Kyrgios playing a Grand Slam final. He's playing the best tennis of his career.
I don't want the bad boy of tennis like Kyrgios to win a slam, that would set a bad example of a strong but dishonest bad guy winning over an honest good guy.
@@strongbrain3128 But we don't even know who he's playing against in the Final
@@strongbrain3128 lmfao mate this isn't some fairytale story about a dishonest bad guy, nick has played extremely well this tournament and nadal obviously knew he couldn't beat him with the injury or at least the further damage he would've done wasnt going to be worth it i think we should all at least hope that he plays at his absolute peak to give us an amazing match and give him a sniff at beating djoker
@@strongbrain3128 what the f? This is not the bachelor show. This is who plays better win. Wtf is wrong with the cuckold society these days?
With a bit of luck :)
whos here after nadal had to withdraw from wimbledon, sucks to see him go, i hope hes ready for the us open
Why would we hope that nadal is ready, if djokovic isnt gna be welcome here? Let djoko play!
This video literally got uploaded 2 days ago, everyone is here after Nadal had to withdraw
Ethan ur my idol
Whilst I’m a Rafa fan, a Novak-Kyrgios match would be very exciting!
Imagine he keeps his undefeated record against Novak to win Wimbledon
Lol, Rafa vs Novak final is the biggest selling point of Wimbledon, u dumboo!
You are not a Rafa fan if you want Krygios to win against him
@@deepa92pol Rafa withdrew, that's why
@@avallach2061 he withdrew after this comment was posted ..anyway he got what he wanted.
Have to say very surprised with the way Kyrgios has performed reaching all the way to the Semi-Final of a Grand Slam for the 1st time man who would've thought that
Well, Nick may have thought that.
@@davidmurray2539 not really he said in an interview that he thought reaching a semi final of a slam would be impossible and that the chance has alluded him
@@pratheekk__ That's probably not what Nick shouts when he's alone in a room with a mirror. More like, "YOU CAN BEAT INNY OF THESE BAWSTADS, BRO!!!
@@davidmurray2539 Well, he's in the finals now. Made it past Nadal without a fight.
@@invictuz4803 Nadal just pulled out. Looks like he will indeed be in the finals
One thing is UNDENIABLY true... Nick brings the BEST out of Rafa... AND Nick plays tie breaks VERY WELL... so exciting!
Also you rarely see Nadal as pumped up as he is against Kyrgios. Nadals celebrations on the court in Acapulco and Wimbledon 2019 were extraordinary.
@@Rumblingbelly the game has been postponed
@@shazanali692 Postponed? Nadal has withdrawn. Nothing postponed about it - Kyrgios gets a bye into the final.
@@shazanali692 thanks, i just read the bad news
Well I'll say this. Kyrgois was on his best behavior today. No arguments with the umpire.
Lol that's because he wasn't playing - I see what you did there haha!
This semifinal is going to be a movie: tennis's superhero vs the "villain"
"The Bad Boy" vs "Vamos Injection"
What villain? Tennis needs Nick
@@PedroSilva-lo1yu exacto
😂😂👍👍👍👍
@@PedroSilva-lo1yu All super hero movies also need villain too.
Such a shame that Nadal had to retire and pull out of Wimby. Djoker vs Nadal final would have been scintillating!
Pretty sure Nick would beat him
Love from Pune ❤️
jujaunagar
I like how their last 2 grand slams meetings ended up with exactly same scoreline
In grand slams Nadal is the better player but due to the injury Kyrgios is 1.60 favourite
@@Rumblingbelly Nadal is also the better player outside grand slams lol
since it is very difficult to break his serve , Nadal found a way to win tie breaks by surprising Nick with return and play and Nick always loses points on his serve in tie breaks but Nadal doesn't.
Wonderful!
I'm surprised Nadal retired. It's surely more serious than what we thought. If he had had any single chance to win, he would have tried, just because it's Kyrgios and because it's a question of honor for a gentleman of the courts to send a bad boy back home.
He has a abdominal tear...ofcourse he would retire
"it's a question of honor for a gentleman of the courts to send a bad boy back home" that's pretty silly, don't you think?
And you know the haters are gonna say he withdrew because he's scared of Nick. That's what haters do. Kick a person down even more to make their miserable lives feel worthwhile
Nadal is not my most favorite Tennis Player but he is a great champion and a legend of the game. I am sure he would have fought if he could. Abdominal tears are extremely painful and very dangerous. He somehow finished the last match (he hates quitting) but he couldn't continue any longer. I feel bad for him but he always had his issues with injuries and age is catching up. I honestly think that Nadal will retire before Federer officially because of his injury prone body.
Not supposed at all. Fake injuries and a lot of substances he treated his body. He is coward. He knows he'll be exposed and demolished in semifinal.
This rivalry is very nice. Would have been amazing to see the wimbledon semifinal. Sad.
I should check the entire Acapulco thriller, seems to be even greater.
I read somewhere Nadal is not playing now .He has withdrawn from the match with Krygios
Yeah he got an abdominal tear of 7 mm
Novak vs Kyrgios in Final - can't wait to see it
I hope rafa is able to recover and be painless otherwise the match can be onesided
Yes one sided for Rafa
👊OneSided Rafa 💪
he was just confirmed to have a 7mm abdominal tear
There’s no way he will. He seemed really in pain during the fritz match.
Rafa will be first off court tomorrow, on the "one side" marked EXIT.
Acapulco definitely their best match by far
I remember that match well. Nadal was so close to winning it many times but Kyrgios fought really hard and always found a way to win crucial points.
That 2019 wimbledon one when Nadal was fired up. It was something else.
@@AkshayKumar-gm7mx let's see what will happen tomorrow 😃
I love em both this is the final for me
Man I was so excited for tomorrow's match! so bad he had to retire.
wow, when these two play, the level is 11/10
imagine being the one making this video for a match and then there was no match lol
this aged well..
Amazing to see that Kyrgios is never easy for Nadal.. looking at the scorelines...
Yeah he really takes the top 3 seriously
Yes
This didn’t age well.
VAMOS RAFA !
Retired
Vamos Champ Rafa always with you vamos 🇪🇸🇪🇸👏🙏
This could be a hell of a match tomorrow…
This aged well within an hour
@@kyofi8930 fuck man... i literally texted my mom after the match yesterday that I'd be surprised if Nadal can even play the Semis. I said that if he could play and even win it (cuz it's Nadal, you never know) his body would surely not keep up and let him play the Final... this is so sad, all we can do his wish that he can come back on court as early as possible, having hopefully fully recovered :/
Wow!
This is back when everyone looked on Kyrgios like people look on Alcaraz and Sinner now. Except he's never reached his full potential. He cares more about the money and the fame than the actual game, what a shame.
Don't think he cares much about money or fame, actually.
I wish the major's would give you their footage 😥
You jinxed it!
Let's go Niiiiiick!!
This didn't age too well...
The hand shake gets less and less friendly the longer it goes on.
Kyrgios merita qualche slam in bacheca. Ha classe e talento
That may be the final match we will ever see between them as Nadal is pulling out of Wimbledon
Goodbye Rafa 😓😓
Unfortunately, it won’t happen this Friday, Rafa withdrawal broke my heart literally, so sad and terrible feeling💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭 I wish him a very speedy recovery, I was looking for a great semis match against NK… 😔😔
When you say "literally"..........😆😆😆😂 I really worry about the state of education when I read KZhead comments like this.
What's with the thumbnail??
Who is here after withdrawal 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Oh yes the king of Tennis and clay Rafa ....... your amazing .
There should be a way they can get permission to show GS highlights, videos are incomplete without them.
Only if Raphael has an injury then he would loose for sure. how he was playing yesterday, don’t thinking there is anything wrong with his health.
JINXED IT AGAIN
Welllll this didn’t age well an hour later💀
For those who didn't pay attention to the score, at 12:15 Nadal got 3 match points... Watch the score at the next play 😱😱😱😱
Djokovic - Kirijos final loading...
What rivalry you saying?
Sadly Rafa withdrew!! Hope he gets well soon!!
Even when Rafa wins, the matches are really close.
It will stay there though
Kyrgios 3:1 Nadal in my opinion. Just like it was in their first meeting at Wimbledon.
i think kyrgios will win 3:0, rafa is not in a good physical condition after the 5 sets against fritz and he has 2 injuries bothering him
@@m2a0x0i7 Only 4 sets with Fritz.
Where is the rivalry?
so the ATP disgustingly canceled all the ATP points from wimbledon 2022 but still tries to make views on his channel with it.
10:37 holy shhhh
Ah yes, 2014, back when Kyrgios still had a bright future ahead of him 😅😅
Jinxed IT
I feel its a mistake for Rafa to still play. He barely won yesterday and with NIck being in top form, he will have no chance. ESP. With that 90 mph serve yesterday, :(
Nick won't able play baseline game, slice, cross court forehand shot of rafa! It’s easy win for rafa than fritz match! Rafa just need to return nick's serve well!
@@invisibleuser8491 This is true. Nadal is way better on the baseline in this slow grass court so its all about the Kyrgios serve.
He is not playing now .
@@invisibleuser8491 If you weren't invisible you'd realize that Nick's court movement and positioning have been excellent and many of Rafa's returns will be anemic, both off service and in rallies, especially with the injury that worshipers see as inconsequential. Rafa's prone to making more errors these years. His medical people face a serious decision here. "Rafa just needs to return Nick's serve well, (with abdominal muscle tear, mind.) Yes and I just need to make three point baskets like Steph Curry.
Yeah
I can’t believe it either. Kyrgios can hit the ball very well and he is fun to watch but never at Nadal or Federer’s level. He is a good showman but not ready to really win grand slams.
Sunday will be the match of the year
Without being a tennis expert, I just noticed that Kyrgios record against Nadal, 3-6, is pretty good as compared to that of other young players, e.g. Medvedev 1-5, Zverev 3-7, Tsitsipas 2-7. From older guys Murray is 7-17... So besides the superstars Djokovic and Federer, Kyrgios has a respectable 3-6 record against one of the greatest ever, if not the goat, in Nadal. This is quite impressive and indicative of his talent and what he can achieve when focused and interested, given the amount of disrespect he has, as compared to the above younger guys that have worst record than him against Nadal. So one thing is for sure: noone can disregard Kyrgios talent and potential. I mean if you have a 3-6 against Nadal, you should be really happy with yourself...
KYRGIOS 2:0 DJOKOVIC
If he didn’t have the brain of a 14-year-old most of the time, he could have got there way earlier
Thiem has a decent record vs Rafa as well, he trails 9-6 but that's much better compared to some other younger next gen players.
@@ashleythomas4112 wow didn't know that, that's pretty good for Thiem
@@2P1CK yes, that too...
Rooting for Kyrios now that my guy withdrew
it's a good rivalry
My favorite Champions 💪🇦🇺❤️
Nadal should up the stakes: "If I beat you with a 1 cm tear in my stomach, you have to quit tennis for good."
He may have a three cm tear of the abdominal by match's end with nothing to show for chasing the flight of Nick's ball around for two or three hours but a semi-finalists check, which, by the way, will be day's only uplifting moment for the Rafa.
Now Nadal withdraws from the Wimbledon semi-final against Kyrgios. Sad.
The juiciest rivalry since Borg/McEnroe
Will kyrgios make another circus tomorrow in the semis or will he act mature against Nadal? Something telling me that he will have more respect than usual
10:37??
12.59
Almost ALL points shown are by Kyrgios. Why?
After winning 22 grand slams, Nadal will be surprised to know that he has a rivalry going on with mr reached-one-grandslam-final kyrgios. The internet is so cute
Go nick!!!
Rafa pulls out. 😔
nick is talking big now...his eyes are on his head now..will become more defiant..
Aged like milk
Very exciting but Nadal is the GOAT. Wishing Nick his first GS.
To bad that Nadal withdrawn from the semifinal clash.
This didn't age well. 😭
Slowly but surely Krygios understood that Angering Rafa will only lead to Defeat....
Rafa has pulled out of this year’s Wimbledon
Im gonna be for real, I am not a fan of Kyrgios. He is a good player no doubt, but not only does he sometimes play foolishly but he starts fights with the littlest of things. That's not tennis etiquette, again hes a good player but he says some bad things and reacts badly to lots of things in tennis and it's just plain stupid. Like with tsitsipas vs kyrgios, they were both in the wrong but people said Tsitsipas was more in the wrong than Kyrgios and thats simply just not true, they both were wrong and equally wrong. People need to actually understand Kyrgios is a great player with a not as great attitude. Hate me all you want but I can assure you it wouldn't change my mind.
I'm thinking what if Kyrgios is inspired and he does actually reach the final and in fact win it 😁
Well he’s in the finals now
@@dhruvmehta666 And unbeaten vs Djokovic.

Kyrgios, you are going to win on Sunday
Finally kyrious is gonna win a GS, congrats nik
There wont be a semifinal between these two. Nadal is going home. Has already withdrawn from Wimbledon.
Say whatever you want about Kyrgios but he is super gracious in defeat
because he couldn't care less
Hello, could the organizers, ATP, WTA, ITF henceforth look at a lucky loser for the SF & F. This kicks in when the winner withdraws due to injury. A contingency sum could be set aside as prize money for the lucky loser. May be a handsome token % of the prize money of SF or Final qualifier. This keeps the momentum and thrills going and the fans are happy.
