Mike Randles is a well-known English farrier who I've known for many years. Mike and I were both watching our sons compete at the World Champion Blacksmith's competition at Spruce Meadows in Calgary in 2023, and I talked him into sitting down with me and telling me his story. Mike had produced the incredible forged anatomical leg model trophy that was presented at the World Championships this year, and it was just a beautiful sight to behold.
