    @WelcomeToSpayne@WelcomeToSpayne2 жыл бұрын
    • It also shows that even when it seems like all hope is lost, there’s also a small chance of saving the remnants of a world and giving them a second chance.

      @undeadprinceofchaos3731@undeadprinceofchaos37312 жыл бұрын
    • I actually hate that saying, what goes around comes around because it's only ever applied towards other people that are doing bad things or ourselves when we're doing something good. But if you take the idea to its logical conclusion, when someone suffers a terrible fate like domestic violence or r*pe, this idea would have us blame the victim is it's just something bad they did coming back around. The much scarier ideas that good things happen to good people but also bad things happen to good people, it's all kind of random, and you can go ahead and do all the good you want but it won't necessarily come back to you. Personally I don't do good things cuz I think it's going to come back to me, I do them because humans are more likely to do good things when they see other humans doing good things, it's like a meme that I'm helping to propagate

    • Agreed. The more recent SCP entries have very much blended themselves with tales, which is a pretty big departure from the older SCPs. That's not to say that it's bad, though. While I do miss the more old style of "Thing that does a thing" SCP and having the horror (or otherwise) peak through the gaps in the official and dry writing, having a story in every article is still cool. The world of SCP is entirely controlled by the will of the fanbase and its writers. This is really just how something so spontaneous and decentralized like the wiki likely tends to occur.

  • This was a really hopeful and pleasant story. This SCP sounds like it would make for an incredible mod for the game Stellaris. The idea of alien refugees terraforming a celestial body in our Solar system after the destruction of their homeworld sounds like it would make for some interesting gameplay. The only other example I can think of that has something like this happening is the movie District 9.

  • this article is really interesting because almost every anomaly on this planet has a similar equivalent on earth. the nanite virus is 008, the lizard the found is obviously a 682 equivalent, the 500 meter tall beings are 231, the intelligent plants can be seen as a 1000 equivalent, and the bunker with the members of the species is similar to scp 2000
