Make sure there’s no foul play. But in this case who is doing the foul play? Referee manages to irritate both Ronnie and Judd during the most important match of their career - for what purpose? We do not know the truth, yet I have here compiled 2 sections of the championship's most controversional moments! Enjoy and feel closer to the action than ever before.

  • They should implement like a pointer that is above the whole table so that the pointer (before the shot) localize exactly the centre of the cue ball and then, after the shot (in case it’s needed to be replaced in the same spot), use the pointer and put the centre of the cue ball in there

First him and the camera ref couldn’t get the cueball back to its position and then Olivier likely thought Ronnie air cueing his cue stick looked like he was jacking it off or some bs. Olivier honestly was in the wrong and I think he’s had it out for Ronnie for quite a while actually. Feels like a never ending grudge, but to be fair, the way Ron conducts himself with a referee at times is really disrespectful and rude and he should be disciplined for it. • The thrown game “evidence” isn’t what convicted Stephen Lee. When they investigated Lee, it was shown that he didn’t even own a bank account, and that 4 friends of Lee made huge bets on Lee losing matches/frames, and then depositing large amounts of money in his wife’s bank account shortly after the match. Stephen Lee accomplished his losses in the way John Higgins described in his leaked video: Lee didn’t keep missing easy balls that could warrant suspicion, he just never played any decent positional shot at all despite being a top snooker player.

    • @@sjdover69 I agree that for the sport of snooker, there should be a punishment for throwing matches, but I don’t see the value in banning people from the sport for x-amount of years. It’s obviously not a deterrent as they often claim, and it really doesn’t teach the offenders anything. Why not draw up some sort of contract where the players caught match-fixing are placed on a probationary period, and making them do some sort of community work like working with children, helping backstage, etc…? Let’s take the example of Stephen Lee: It was said in the final verdict that he was weak-minded, and put in a set of circumstances that made him make poor choices. How is scapegoating and banishing him going to help him in any way? It’s that ridiculous “lock him up and throw away the key”-mentality that really doesn’t benefit the sport. He should have been given the chance to work on his problems and gradually be allowed back in tournaments.

    • I'm wondering that as well. I'm trying to read the rules a little over on Wiki, but from what I've gathered, on the first shot, the first player must a red ball first, but he may hit any of them. Unless he pockets any red balls in the holes on the first shot (the break?), then the red ball that was hit is "on", which means that ball must be put in a pocket hole first. and it seems that red ball must be able to be seen by the cue (white) ball and hit without any walls used.

  • Ronnie was correct about that red, ive looked at it several times! But, its also bery difficult fr the ref to that exactly spot on, you are talking about millimetres! And Ronnie shud know whrn he was pretty far in front, like most sports, you have to just take ebb n flow of the refs decisions sometimes.....but he's a maverick bonafide genuis! I thought the Ref cud have kept his composure a little better....Ronnie started out making light of the situation, but instead of joking about it, rhe Ref seemed to take a bit of offense n went a bit Authoritarian Attitude on Ronnie a bit, which is the worst thing fr Ronnie! As we know hes had many battles with the Snooker Authorities over the years! If the Greatest of All time tells u the white is not in the correct spot, then u know hes right! The Ref didn't want to keep moving the ball millimetres.... which was unprofessional for The GOATs level of exactly genius! Refs have to understand the personality of the key players in any sport, snooker, football, boxing, cricket, watever, in order the red that sport to the best of theur abilities.... their are rhe rules of the sport, and the human factors of the players involved. Rugby Union n Rugby League are the best refs in World sport in understanding this! But also the very hard men in those two games just crack on with watever the ref says.🙏
