INDIA lacks something that CHINA has

Since the start of the pandemic, many Western countries have discussed the need to diversify the supply chain to reduce their dependence on China. China is the world's largest exporter and for several decades, the rest of the world took advantage of its cheap labor and manufacturing industry. But China's image as the world's factory was damaged by its strict zero covid policies, slowing economic growth and an aging and shrinking population. And when we think of the country that could replace China as the world's factory, India is probably the most popular candidate. This is because it is the only country comparable to China in terms of population. In fact, in January 2023, India became the most populous country in the world. Additionally, its population is still young, so it is assumed that it can host many large-scale industries and thus replace China in the global supply chain. However, there are reasons to believe that India will not be able to replace China.

  • If India wants to be the new world hub for quality and affordable products, it has to put a stop to it's crony industrialization policies n lower manufacturing materials import taxes or abolish to compete with China. Non-employment problem will be considerably reduced with per capita income increase. India can make it happen only if the minority culprits loosen it's GRIP on the economic growth.

  • China is ruled by one man and its parliament is just formal and leadership is final. There is no opposition to leadership and opposition is just removed without visibility. There is homogenuity in population and one religion that i Chines and Muslims are barriaced to toe Chine philosophy and systems with no opposition by any Muslim country including Pakistan and other Islamic country. In a few word China political machine is one man rule pervading all thers sectors from politics, industry and military with no opoosition and no firm rules and regulations. India is a Democracy and anyone can question and pelt stones in protests with plent of inaction and due to religious and language diversity and diverse loyalties and practices that hinder labor mobilisation with diverse labor laws and indusrtrial laws inheritted from British era and never updated to meet Independent India needs by Congress in since 1947.

  • Actually iam kind of proud that India favours its own domestic brands more than every Tom Dick and harry from several corners of the world , while being a production epicentre can be beneficial in short run , it is not sustainabls for a very long time , it decreases your own natural resources , increases levels of pollution and then blamed by the consumers of these products , the developed countries that these production houses should decrease pollution and comply by their orders , the economy should be balanced
