Dogs come in so many sizes, shapes and personalities.. but they've one thing in common: they're so loveable
Preach it!
And yummy
Frankie going straight in the water, Little lady: meh 😅 Love these two, they’re awesome in each their own way.
Haha I don’t even try to recall Frankie from water anymore (if it’s safe) cause he just loves it so much
I have a 4 month old standard Blue Merle Aussie Shepherd who reminds me of Frankie, super active, smart and loves to fetch. He’s the best addition to my life 🥰 maybe one day I can get him a little sister like the Little Lady ❤️
It doesn't necessarily work, I got a new puppy and my 2 year old Aussie wasn't accepting of him. I've had two female dogs and really wanted a guy dude bro dog.
Indie is one of the sweetest doggos I have ever seen. ❤ And Frankie is a dapper gentleman 😂😊
I got a very calm mini Aussie myself, and it’s definitely been a struggle to figure out what type of exercise works best for her. I got that breed expecting a dog more like Frankie and I am constantly worrying about if she gets enough exercise or stimulation… Meanwhile my little turkey in reality will lay on the couch all day long and is good to go with a five minute tug session each day. But she is still without a doubt the best dog I’ve ever had and my best friend and it’s not even been a year
I found out that Indie doesn't like a lot of activity. She enjoys her daily routine and doesn't need much so it is important to regulate her food and that is the main thing
We have kind of the same dynamic with our 2. My Red Tri is like Frankie. He is always moving, catches everything you throw to him, loves agility and you have to take the time to wear him out each day. My Red Merle, is more laid back, not real thrilled about fetching things, but just loves his food. Real easy to train, as he will do about anything for a treat. A frisbee throw can be the reward for my Red Tri when training outside. But it is fun to have the 2 personalities around the house.
Best of both worlds-cuddles and play. 😊
My Luna is now one year old and we got her primarily because of your channel. Her sister Willow lives next door and couldn't not get her. We've always had rescues and now with my son, we wanted a pup. She's perfect and absolutely beautiful! She's a tri with light brown breath taking eyes, only 16lbs! On the smaller side. Loves to fetch and play but hates walks 🤣 same as any aussie, she lives in the water. Very picky wth her treats and food. Rarely cuddles but does like to nap. Car rides are a must and ready to pick up her boy after school. My son is her person and very protective of him. They are extremely smart dogs. Luna escapes to see her sister every day. Thankfully our neighbors understand and both aussies live in both homes 💜
We have a 2 year old mini blue merle. He's a whopping 19 pounds and makes Frankie look chill. LOL. He's a wild man with two different eyes and we love him so.
Jeeps and aussies… this is a way of life! Right?
Love your videos... Always great fun! Oh, and... Great French accent!!!
I have a 16 week old Mini that looks like your Frankie. He has his personality as well. You are such an inspiration. Thank you for all your training advice.
Not a fan of dog parks after one of mine was attacked. But this one looks great!
Your videos are so calming and wholesome. I'm happy that you and Indie found your way together. Thank you! :)
Thank you so much!
You are so fun to watch. Thank you.
25 years with aussies by mi side, right now i have red merle who’s 65 lbs!! A pony omg! All muscles and “nerves”.. i am so tired… 😂 you are so funny. Subscribing right now. Big hug from Québec
❤️❤️ Franks is so handsome!!
Aw thank you! He’s a good looking guy I must say

I got so excited qbout the new videooo and I LOVED IT❤️ Thank you for making them🙏🏼
aw thanks for watching
Frankie & Joey are back with a new video. Today is gonna a be a good day 🤙
So happy to see your videos, it’s so good that you make videos explaining stuff like that !
I really enjoy it :) thank you for watching
I grew up with an Aussie very much like Indy which made me fall in love with the breed, but when I got one of my own I found I had much more of a Frankie in personality and it was a complete curve ball compared to what I was expecting. Learning to work with the differences and give my dog what he needed was a challenge but it has been so fun. He keeps me on my toes for sure and I love that I have to be active in having a dog like him. Whether they’re calm or not, they’re truly the best dogs ❤
This is the thing I worry about if I do get another. I lost my first boy back in January and he was such a nice mix of the energetic and very smart but with a great chill button.
@@smileyginger1 oh no, I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet boy. Maybe he’ll have a hand in helping you pick another if you decide to ❤️❤️
I have 2 Aussie’s; more similar than yours; high energy. One loves ball, other one can’t catch (but is learning). All of them adorable!
Love that!
Hello everyone its great to see you guys all dogs are different they have there own way of doing things but there all so lovable and cute just like Frankie and Indie on the couch lol love Indie she has her own way and you did great with frankie you show boat all you want lol its well deserved thank for sharing
I appreciate you so much. I want a mini Aussie so much. However i know working full time would be difficult for the dog. Cause them stress. So i am living through you.
Have you guys tried teaching Indie how to catch ? I had to teach mine ! By the way, both your attempts at french were right ! Allez = Come on, On y va = let's go !
I’m so glad you’re posting more often. I love watching these two so much! ❤️❤️
I am happy to be back! what do you want to see for future videos?
@@FrankieToTheMoon Honestly anything. Just all the normal kind of videos YTers do-Day in the life, what we eat/spend/do in a week, home videos, etc.
The quebecois side Omg laughing so hard! 😂
i love your content man!
I appreciate that!
I love your videas they are super helpful, I have a 15 week old mini aussie and I have watched all your videos to prepare!
Glad you like them!
I love you're youtube Videos! Brings a smile to my day. Please keep them coming :)
We will definitely keep filming!
watched this with my 1 yr old aussie and his ears peerrrkked during ball and dog play scene. he's the perfect mix of indie and frankie :) lil couch potato that can catch balls.
aw that is so cute!
Some of my favourite footage from you. Great videography 👍
wow thank you so much!
@@FrankieToTheMoon it's true, man
I absolutely love this! I don't have 2 Aussies, but I have a a pit/lab mix and a mini Aussie (very similar to Frankie!) My pit/lab mix is exactly like Indi though :)
"Allons-y" is what you were thinking of. "Let's go!"
YES
We have almost the exact same dynamic with our two. Kaycee our blue merle would love agility! Mollie, would NOT. Only difference with our two is Mollie might not be as energetic but she is quicker and more agile. Kaycee is built for running, just flat out running. I still can't believe the similiarities with your two and our two! Great video, and a beautiful place for a walk.
Happy belated birthday 🥳
You said Allons-y and all I could think of was The Doctor. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about but it made me so happy 🤣
Love your vids. I have a blue merle "mini" too. He's 50lbs. Maybe not so mini , he was sold as a mini though. When does Dogmas start?
My Frankie is a chocolate Havanese 😍
I have 2 mini Aussies as well. One female one male. It's crazy to me how similar my male is to Frankie and how similar my female is to Indi.
could you train a stubborn great pryenees aussie mix to listen thats what i have
My boy is 89 pounds the vet says he’s supposed to be 50 but that’s just not both his breeds combined so he should be 65-70 but he’s got a lot of muscle. It’s crazy the difference in size compared to his litter mates many of them are bigger except his sisters.
Love your videos. I have a tri brown mini Aussie myself. My best bud! Just curious being from down under(USA). Why is Ottawa dropping English? Thanks
Ottawa isn’t, but I heard something about Quebec is. I don’t know everything or if it’s just a rumour
My autistic adult son that lives with us just got an Aussie puppy it’s been hard for me and him just adjusting. I wanted him to have a friend he can go on trips with or just going to the park together. I’m just hoping he can handle all the training. I’m not gonna lie I get emotional sometimes when I watch your videos because you have the life I want for my son. I’m just worried because we’ve had the puppy for a a couple of weeks potty training is still not going good but we’ll have to keep trying!
I’m new to Aussies. Is there any particular reason why you choose a harness over just a collar when walking?
Allons-y ! Ahahah good French !!😂❤
Oh okay so I was close! I lost my French so it’s tough getting back
I’m thinking about getting one but my place is pretty small, plus I go to school for 6-7 hours so I don’t know if that matters
hi from gatineau!
bonjour!
I have a 2yo female Border-Aussie mix with a shoulderhigh of 55cm and 17,5kg. Few weeks ago we were in the forest and she got 3 burdocks with a size of a cherry in her fur with no chance to remove them. So i had to cut them out 😔 Just a suggestion from me : when tennis balls are wet with dogspit, very fine sand sticks to the surface and grinds off the teeth, like sandpaper. Best regards from germany Ps: i wrote with help from g..gle translator, sry if it is faulty.
❤
I wanted two dogs, I have a two year old aussie and got a border collie pup. My Aussie was so aggressively hostile to that pup that I had to return him to the breeder. I've always heard you don't want to get two puppies at the same time and you definitely don't want two puppies from the same litter. You don't want to female dogs, etc, etc. I did everything you are supposed to and it just didn't work. :(. The truth is I've always like border collies more than Aussies so I was really disappointed. Maybe I didn't try long enough to work on them getting along but I was afraid my Aussie was going to kill the puppy. Anyways its cool you were able to make it work. Maybe a work around would be to put a border collie with my Aussie and keep the best pup out of the litter.
Frisbee
FISBO
My 11 month old she is a mini aussie same like Frankie. But she so hyper everytime I take her for walks she so aggressive. When she see other dogs she goes wild like starts barking and trying play with them. Idk how to get her clam. Your dogs seem friendly and clam with other dogs around them. I can not walk my dog without a lease she will go all over the places. Any tips on how to change her behavior?
can you do a video on “How to get your dog used to the snow”?
*throws Frankie in snow*
I think my Aussie has ADHD lol. she's so hyper, doesn't pay attention and is very stubborn.. she chews on everything and humps my leg.. she just turned 6 months.. I still love her tho
i would really encourage you to find a sport or activity that she really enjoys. For Frankie, that is Frisbee. When i take that out, I get his laser focus and it helps stimulate that portion of his mind
@@FrankieToTheMoon yeah I take her out for about an hour each day, it's like she gets board, she'll go off and start trying to catch grasshoppers or eat deer shit.. She has a half a second attention span.. she'll do really well one day then next day she loses all focus.. I'm definitely gonna get her a frisbee tho for sure, been throwing her squeaky balls just to try to keep her attention
How do you keep them safe from an aggressive dog you might run into on your walks. Do you have some kind of plan in place like calling them back quickly. Do you carry a weapon? I would like to take my pup for more walks but we ran into an aggressive dog and I was barely able to save my girl. Now we are both afraid of walks. Can’t get her to even walk down my drive way.
When we go on longer hikes, I do carry bear spray and a knife but when we are just in these neck of the woods, I don’t carry anything. As for coming across a reactive dog, we tend to keep our distance from any dogs. And I really focused on good recall when they were puppies. These dogs really never go where we can’t see them so I have a lot of trust in them.
Ahyoka Star says osiyo tsunslii (ᎣᏏᏲ ᏧᎾᎵᎢ) hello friends! She's a 2+ year old Standard Australian Shepherd Red Tri.
What year wrangler is that?
2018 JL!
My mini Aussie couldn't catch anything if her life depended on it. 🙃
Wait - is Indy your dog now? I thought she is Angelica's dog
She is not my dog, just made sense for the title
I hate dog parks!
