Story of my life
I was searching through comments no one mentioned how Kenny and kanan finished all the food and didn't like when the guy left the food on the plate. That's so pure form of being connected to our culture. Not wasting food has enormous importance in our culture though many people don't give much importance to it.
Maybe because they had to taste 4 dosas in one day but I would have just ordered one or two and split them in that case to avoid wastage 😕

I thought Andhra had good dosas but when I moved to Bangalore,the variety is just overwhelming and later when I go back to my hometown and I have dosa then I realized how amazing Bangalore dosas are.. like you cannot go wrong with dosas here bro!!!

@@codinggirl8537 I agree that Bangalore Dosas are to die for. But the origin of Dosas are highly debated. There are conflicting historians who debate between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. While historian P. Thankappan Nair states that it originated from Udupi, historian K. T. Achaya says that the Dosa was already in use in the ancient Tamil country around 1000AD as it has been mentioned in Sangam Literature. But the crispier dosas and the masala dosas are definitely a creation of Karnataka.

Kanan Gill and I went to school together. He was 3 years my senior. I used to live near CTR, so every couple of weeks we used to have dosa from CTR and Mangalore Bajji from Janatha Hotel. My dad worked near Vidyarthi Bhavan so I've been there a few times too. This episode spoke to me on a spiritual level ♥️

Bangalore sambaar is truly unique. The few times I traveled outside the country, was surprised to find South Indian food in all these far away places (e.g. Peru). It didn't taste great but hey, nothing like home cuisine even if it was rubbery dosa. But the one thing I never was able to find outside Bangalore was sweet sambar!
