    • I have driven both, and I own a Porsche 996 Carrera, it does handle, corner or brake like my Porsche, not even close. My close friend owns a Porsche GT2 AWD at 700 HP at the wheels. its the fastest car I have ever been in. The biggest issues with Evos extremely short gear ratios to start with, FUCKED TURNING CIRCLE, ugly as sin.

    • How can Mitsubishi be in the same price bracket as Porsche, example the 2018 model GT2-RS 700 HP at the wheels. 750 NM, $430,000 how in the world can you say, But Porsche big money for the same performance to cheaps cars. I have a Porsche, it, out brakes, out handles, and out paces, the EVO bye a country mile. You get what you pay for. It is rear wheel drive only. I had an Evo 9 right next to it, The owner was SHOCKED that he couldn't catch me, understeering all over the place. I have continentals contisports tires on the car, pure grip. Also to pay $70,000 for a new Evo not in your life. The car is a sedan with a turbo on it, that's it. My car is going through the roof in valve, because it a Porsche. The new GT2-RS IS $430,000 but jesus its a bullet. Watch the KING OR THE NURBURGING destroy the lap times . I have a close friend who has had a R34 and had a Evo. Now he has a Porsche 996 GT2. With approx. 650 HP at the wheels. He went to some illegal street drag, full of GTR'S and Evo's not one car could catch him. Not ONE. I asked him you have had Jap car and now this, what better, HE SAID PORSCHE THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE PERIOD. But guys that own jap car can't see that, or refuse to see it. I have been in his car. IT IS THE MOST VILENT SCARIEST FAST CAR I HAVE EVER BEEN IN PERIOD. Fast enough to pull 7 car spaces on a Hayabusa jap bike, from start to top speed. I KID YOU NOT, AS I WAS IN THE PASSANGER SEAT. The G-force pushes into your stomach that it makes you want to vomit. That's how fast it is. Its like a punch in the stomach every gear change. Just imagine that for a minute. I have been to Japan factory that makes Jap cars, I have also been to Porsche Germany, NOW THEY HAVE ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT. I understand, power for as little money. I did the same, but its wasn't working, unit I went for a drive in a Porsche, bloody hell they do everything you want but it cost money. To have light weigh products, titanium roof, wheels etc, that stuff isn't cheap. Just my cat bye pass exhaust is $3,800 made from stainless steel from England. Real carbon fiber etc, all this stuff costs money. Please go for a drive in a Porsche, you will see the difference. This is why the Japan car makes case Porsche to check there performance. The Nissan GTR. Go to GTR, VS GT3-RS here on youtube a naturally aspirated engine smashes GODZILLA and the Nissan is 4WD NO BLOODY EXCUSES HERE FOR NISSAN, IT GOT SMASHED. A none turbo engine smashed a turbo car. NOW THAT'S IMPRESSIVE PERIOD.

    • ? A tuned AWD Evo against a base model RWD Porsche and it barely beat it by half a car. 911 are track cars. And for the record the 1994 964 Turbo 3.6 beated the 1994 Supra on the 1/4 mile for almost a second.. Motortrend 1994 "all heil to the king" article.

  • Don't think the evo is stock I can't read what the language is but definitely doesn't look stock..bigger exhaust means some type of work is done vs the Porsche that looks stock..still a good vid

  • Wouldn't a more appropriate race be the 911 997 turbo vs Evo? Hell even a 911 996. I feel the S is at a slight disadvantage. A 4S would've even been better since it too is AWD. Also, on the used market for these - an Evo is in the same price range as a lot of 911 Carrera's, $15-22k Range can easily get you either car, 911 996 for sure maybe not 997's though those start around $20-25 even for base models with decent mileage. Anyway, this was a pointless video that proved nothing.

    • ясно :) но вы тогда в шапке сразу пишите спеки машин, чтоб сразу было ясно с чем их "кушать" :) А то бывает смотришь видео, в нём какой то гольф R заезжает с ламбо хурикан или бугатти вейроном,и рвёт их. А потом оказывается,что в этом гольфе 700+ сил,моторка 3,6 битурбо и от гольфа там только буквы на крышке багажника :) И бюджет боинга 747 :)
