A new documentary has told the true story of The Hampstead Paedophile Hoax -a chilling witch hunt which began nine years ago, when two children accused their community of the worst crimes imaginable. These false claims made it onto the internet, causing an unbelievable turn of events which would see innocent parents questioned, accused, abused and threatened by wild conspiracy theorists. We meet one of those mums today to hear their story about how the events continue to affect their life, alongside criminologist David Wilson.

Believe the children's ! It sounds sus
The children later stated that it nonsense and it was the mothers then boyfriend, the known child abuser Abraham Christie, who actually abused them. Abraham Christie already had 37 convictions for child abuse, drug offences, violence and dishonesty. You do "believe the children" when they later stated that a known child abuser tortured them into making the false allegations, yes?
The fact that ALL the media is supporting her and the father in the case blindly is enough to strongly reconsider if this is a 'false story'
Or you could get the facts from the court document available online. Ella Draper and her then boyfriend Abraham Christie tortured the kids into lying. He was already a child abuser with a long criminal record. Maybe read the facts?

Polygraph testing is 99.9% accurate. Much as the Satanists and trolls try to discredit the truth as it is certainly not in their evil interests for them to be found out. But funny thing. Truth has a way of eventually being heard. When are good people going to stand up and say, enough is enough. The mother (Ella) I recall passed a lie detector test regarding all of this. And I think a child psychologist also believed that the kids were not lying. Also, why didn't the police follow up by checking to see the tattoos on the accused? I have had nephews and a niece, and currently have 2 nephews, around the same as as the 2 kids were when they gave their account of the abuse, and this isn't something kids at that age can just spew out, no matter how many acting/coaching sessions they've had. The father, Ricky, is an odd one too. I remember coming across his Facebook and saw a post where he's sending love and prayers to UFOs. Rather odd and strange...
Nope. That video is hilarious. The guy who conducted it is a known fraudster, polygraphs are pseudoscience that even the FBI won't touch (despite what you've seen in the movies) and even funnier is that at one point in the video, the polygraph shows that Ella's lying! But it's academic, as Ella wasn't a witness to the alleged events anyway and she never claimed to be 🤣
Ella Draper paid for the polygraph. She paid to get the result she wanted in a heavily edited video. It was made for gullible people like you @Mario36724 The rest of your comment is nonsense.
She "passed" a lie detector test that she organised and filmed herself. Let's not also ignore the fact that lie detectors are not admissible in UK courts, they are not considered reliable evidence anyway. The claims were investigated, and no truth to found in any of the claims.

Absolutely!! Clearly, at best, the police didn't investigate the claims made. How can she be told the case is closed while she is a key named person in the case. Wasn't it important to hear her side of the story before closing the case?
@@Anthony-iu8wu Because the police already knew the allegations were false. Ella Draper's then boyfriend, Abraham Christie, was a known child abuser. Coincidentally the officer interviewing the children had dealt with Christie's pervious child abuse case, it must have been a real shock to Christie when he found that little gem out, likely why he did a runner abroad to avoid arrest again. The police do not investigate people when they know an allegation is false. It helps if you know the basics of the case before commenting...
The claims were investigated when the children first made their statements. The police first looks at the locations where the children claimed these events took place, but nothing married up. 3 days after the initial statements, the children admitted they had been coached to lie. Sadly the videos were later released by a conspiracy nut supporting the mother on to social media, at this point all those implicated were exposed
@@Anthony-iu8wu the claims were demonstrably false, early investigations revealed this, as did the children's subsequent testimony, so the majority of those on the list would have been left alone, but were later exposed when conspiracy nuts leaked the recordings online
Okay a side from the crazy context.. there's a lot of people that wrongly get called something. It happens and it's sad.
It was more than being "called something". Having to sleep on the floor next to your child's bed every night due to Internet stalkers threatening to kidnap them because they know where you live, is more than being "called something". If you think I am exaggerating, then you are so wrong. One of the many people involved in this hoax was Wilfred Wong who was later jailed for kidnaping a child from another hoax. From the news: "Anke Hill and Wilfred Wong snatched the child from their foster carer as they arrived home from school. Hill wrestled the child from their car seat and them in a waiting car, while Wong held a knife to the foster carer's throat before slashing one of the carer's tyres to prevent them from following. Hill was jailed for 14 years and five months while Wong was given a 17-year jail sentence. Hill was told she had manipulated others into joining with her to kidnap the child, while Wong was told by the judge "you still have a clear under-lying belief in these accusations". He was given a concurrent sentence of two years and six months for possession of a bladed weapon." Never underestimate crazy people online. They will come to your home and they will carry out their threats on your family.
Also I noticed none of the women crying even after all these years recalling such a terrible event happening to your family I would still shed a tier and I'm a Dad Definitely actors I also remember watching this when it broke out those children could never keep such complex lies going

The children's stories have never been proven wrong, on the contrary, after the court decision, the things previously told have been confirmed as the actions continued. The children, who are now adults, are in really bad shape and have been led into a much darker way of life, a way that is not easy to believe because it is so unbelievably evil. The case should be reopened and the children should be given chance to tell about their lives after being given to their father who has been hiding them all these years.

@@zed351 It could also be that they have been taken deeper into the darkness and since it has been allowed to continue for a long time without anyone interfering with it, they have become accustomed to it. It has kind of become normal to them. It would be good to give them a chance to tell their story, however it may be, so that the case can be closed once and for all.

I heard a podcast about this story called "Hoaxed." It was quite a story. I think it was the same story but it was out awhile ago. Eventually the documentary maker got to the bottom of it. Bas8cally the whole community was inundated.

I'm confused, someone please enlighten me! If the official story is true, why would the mother coach the children to describe tattoos and birthmarks on the suspects, which could of been instantly disproved by a simple physical examination? Why did NONE of them go in and allow the police to put the whole story to bed, instead of crying about it all these years later? Also, why after the Dr at the police station found evidence of the abuse on the children's bodies, was a full investigation of the father not immediately started (this was before any of the fake retractions, of which incidentally the boy actually tries to confirm the original story 7 times!). I remember playing a game in drama class at school, called "alibi game" which would prove that it is very difficult for 2 stories to corroborate if you are lying. These 2 children told the exact same story with many many details revealed beyond what would be possible with coaching. Even the best actors in hollyweird still forget their lines, so don't treat the UK like fools, as they are not!

Conspiracy theories can be horrific most of the times
Of course children are capable of lies. especially if trained well by their eccentric parent. The mother and her child abuse partner are unashamed of what they are doing. The children admitted they were told to say it. I watched this. And I absolutely believe the children lied. And by the way, I was an abused child as was my siblings, call it instinct. Of course they used actors. They had nuts turning up on their doorsteps, nuts on Internet, etc . I would be the 1st to say if I thought true.
Never heard about this until now. I can see why people would believe such a thing bc of all the cover ups in the past, but people need to be careful bc imagine if someone falsely accused you? It must be horrifying. I don’t know much about this case just watching a documentary about it atm and only halfway through it. It’s far fetched that every parent, from the school did this! If the real criminal case has been suppressed for years by the authority despite multiple pieces of evidence, don't you think this is also horrifying? Why this mother (Ella) has to fight for her abused children for so many years despite all sorts of smear campaigns has been going on by major media? What is the benefit of doing this? The real mother can only fight for the truth and justice. If you have power, you can go onto major media easily and create as many as cover-up stories. Ella's pleas on videos are respectful, and well presented the nature of the crimes against children in this country. She is fighting for not only her own children, but also many other children whose voices were supressed. I saw the documentary made by Channel 4 and shocked to see how many F words came out of a mother's mouth (even if they are actress, I was speechless). The documentary looked well crafted for Ella's smear campaign. That's how I interpreted it.
When you have trumatised adults who've experianced ritual and/or s%x abuse (who were't listened to as kids by institutions that should've cared) Who then hear of a (potentual) child victim who's not being belived, will ignite a sincer desire/passion/pain/defiance to save that innocent!

Dad took the kids and ran to the USA Los Angeles, 4 years later dad won an award in the states an eBay kids product award (slim), it's on KZhead (Google Ricky dearman new name or Ricky dearman award winning). In his award winning speech his daughter who was then 12yrs old is pregnant and clearly visible, she tries to hide it but anyone can tell and the morning sickness she was suffering was visible in her face too. Their father is a sicko. They kids aren't lying. A lot of people here in North London know the father personally.. we are not in shock at all.

It’s not the duty of the public to investigate child abuse it’s for the authorities alone The incredible foolish attitudes of those approaching any individuals making online arguments insults & allowing them selfs to comment on emotive unsupported allegations should be recognised as a criminal act If the general public feel that this is something that is not being addressed by the authorities they have the right to ask for their concerns to be addressed by the authorities & if they still feel not enough is being addressed they can ask the human rights courts to intervene Acting out of personal anger is highly irresponsible & presents threat to those they appear to voice concern about
The investigation by the police was closed before the medical examination report came back... A complaint to the IPCC by the mother claiming the police did not complete a thorough investigation was upheld
There is a video of a former police interrogator campaigning for and supporting these claims by the children.
I don't know what to believe. Why would the two young children lie? Very strange... the women were actors then, not the real people? Doesn't make sense, tbh. 😮

The 2 young children were told to say what they said by the parents at the time. They've since explained they were told to tell those stories despite them being untrue.
Their step father beat them, bullied them into repeating his words and had done similar with previous step children.
@lizbutler9108 The poor little boy had a significant injury to his ear that was inflicted by his step father who coerced the children to make these apauling allegations. Ironically he was using his step children to spread and perpetuate the hoax but, he was the one abusing his step children. I think the mothers and families have shown incredible resilience in the face of a living nightmare.
As already said, the kids were abused into telling the stories. There's recordings of the step dad coaching them. He also did it begore to another partners kids. The parents have to stay anonymous because there are still people online who actively want to harm them.
