End of Project video for this 1/6th scale Armortek RC German WWII King Tiger heavy tank model. This build is for Private commission and belongs to a private collector. The model was procured by the customer in a virgin state and was sent to me for the full construction.
This video is the end of a series that has continual updates from start to finish.
In this video I describe the very last bits of details that were added getting the model compelted

What a fantastic looking tank ❤
I`d wager that if you were to take a b/w photo of that model in that exact position, @9:55, it would actually look really authentic .
Awesome build! ... my dad was deafened by a Tiger 2 in WW2... he survived the tank didn't!.... thanks from NZ 👍🇳🇿
AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
Bravo. An absolute masterpiece. Cant wait to see what’s next for you
I agree with some of the guys that you have built one of best tanks you ever built! Congratulations 👍👍👍👍🍾🥂
Looks absolutely spot on, awesome
Great build, may be one of your best in my opinion. Great effort and worth it, congrats!
looks amazing. Nicely done
Love that camo!!!
Looks Awesome...
Bardzo ciekawe filmy .Bardzo dużo pracy włożyłeś w składanie i efekt końcowy super :)
Great job John! Now, when’s the V100 update? 😉
when this one is out the door with the customer lol, so really soon ;)
Looks amazing John… great work. Looks like pattern is from Tiger Ausf.B of the s.Pz.Abt.501 (1st SS Panzer Division), Belgium, December 1944. I think it’s awesome.
it looks just like the real one, dear god 2:36 specially in this shot
Your videos are amazing. I have watched a couple builds entirely. One question I have that was not detailed in any videos, is how is the turret attached to the body? It doesn't just sit on it does it? I would think the turret gears would not mesh securely that way going over rough terrain. Thanks.
it just sits on the tank via gravity like the real one. The weight alone keeps it seated and there was never a problem with the gears meshing over terrain
@@oddball759mm Thank you very much. I did not realize that real tank turrets just sit on the tank hull!
@@raymassa3751 battleships are the same way, that's why when they sink they roll over and the turrets fall out
I’ll take your entire stock!!!
I will be starting an Armortek build when the M26 is released. Can you suggest what type of etch primer, primer and paint type to use? Acrylic, enamel, oil, etc. Thanks. I have watched a ton of your videos and am amazed at the detail and quality of work you put in each model.
all of the info you are looking for I go into great length in this video here, kzhead.info/sun/hb6ef6yipZ2hdac/bejne.html
@@oddball759mm Thank you. Very helpful.
glad I was able to help
Looks so sweet, where are you physcially located? I'd love to get you to paint my amortek build. That's going to be a challenge for shipping so if I can drive it up to you and drop it off and then pick up at the end that would be ideal.
I'm out in eastern PA
Nice build, but was expecting to see and hear it run at least a little bit.
that's going to be the next video, stay tuned
That's a sick looking mf 😳
What speakers are the best for these tanks. Cheers
I'm not the best person to answer this. The ones fitted to this one came with the armortek sound system
Hello, where are you located? I have a 1/6 King Tiger that I recently purchased and it needs service.
email sent :)
you ever consider shooting it with a .22 for a cool shell dent? haha
no, that is something that has no appeal to me
Damn dude!...>IMPRESSIVE indeed!< -Its hard to imagine the work involved, just not on the end-users/purchasers side, but the insane amounts of CNC milling/Lathe/Casting total time spent on ArmorTek's end!? (No wonder they co$t what they do & made in limited runs eh?;) -And on the "Just because one could, doesnt mean one should" angle: (Dont want to give anyone any /good/bad/!FUN! &/or dangerous ideas, but wouldnt it be absolutely hilarious as to providing home/property defense needs eh? -Or @ least a difficult, yet fully entertaining one to explain to the polices/detective's (Or Judge) own after-action reports?)... ~As the ArmorTek T2/Ferdinand, fires up n' rolls outtve its '"DogHouse" to meet the unsuspecting, formerly laughing & ^upright home-invader in the yard;) -Although Ive not yet seen how much usable empty space exists with the Tiger2's turret or better yet, the ArmorTek 'Elephant's' chassis/casemate/body (Prob not much w/batteries/motors?) -Ive done some quick, rudimentary sketches & measurements (from my own 10/22 rifle receiver & ArmorTeks turret/casemate length & width stated online dimensions), in which this^ T2 ride/Or more likely, the ArmorTek 'Elephant/Ferdinand' AG (Albeit, both with some mod's) could be truly weaponized with a semi-automagick Ruger 10/22 22LR cal Rifle/or 'Ruger Charger' short barreled pistol version-or other manufactures models that would fit.) -Using the base-level flush fit 10 round Ruger mags. (Im SURE the ATF would require some sorta specialized 'Destructive Device' tax-stamp fee for such a 'legal' mod?;) -Of course the rifle/pistols barrel would have to be turned in a lathe &/or cut down & then its biz end re-threaded to fit the 8.8cm L70's/Tiger II's/Elephants original cannon/muzzle brake profile/length/to-scale radius... -The 10/22's receiver, fully stripped of any non operational parts (w/o pistol grip or stock) -Then flipped upside down in situ/custom built turret mount for easier reloads/magazine swaps via a removable turret roof plate... -Using an electrical Solenoid driven trigger actuator, but prob needing to be recharge'd on every reload by hand with the 10/22's bolt lever..Providing theres enough space in the turret, or casemate, & the builder possessing enough skill as to workable metal modifications. it just MIGHT WORK? -Now wouldnt that be a !FUN! one to show off?...Thanks for cool vid/work!...;)
just letting you know you can't have it fire remotely, as the ATF will classify that as a MG and unless you have your SOT and file the proper paperwork they will not be very happy with you. It will not be a fun time, and it's not worth it. From my understanding you can use a lanyard and fire it like an artillery piece, but you might want to check with a lawyer to be sure. The one thing I do know is that using a remote system is a NO-GO
