  • If you go into build mode from the manage worlds menu and use tool you can move items off of the lot! "toggle active object" turns the selected object green and you can click to move it where you clicked, tool stands for takes objects off lot, that's its main purpose! so if you wanted you could add more activities around tartosa for the kids!

    • can this help me place horse training objects just to the side of my lot? i have no room for them and i had to size them down and squeeze them in next to the wall of the house right at the edge of the lot just to fit them. i dont even know if they'll work sized down, havent tested yet.

  • An idea for a video could be Each room is a different legacy from your channel, so for example: the Cottage Living lets play with Brie Cheese, and Short Lifespan Legacy and some older ones too. It could be nice to relive all these moments 💗💗

  • i recently got TOOL too, it's been an absolute lifesaver for getting curtains perfectly placed over windows! learning to rotate things is a bit more of a learning curve than elevating or scaling; there's multiple axis you can switch through. you can tell which way you're rotating an object by the green circles around it, at least, i was so confused until i saw those lol in regards to infants, i usually give them one toy and stick it in their inventory. once they learn to grab things they'll start playing with it themselves. they can use the dollhouse once they learn to scoot/crawl. get a mobile on the crib, and immediately queue up a lullaby once the kid is in, it works like a charm. (sometimes the parent sim gets stuck in an animation of putting the kid in and taking them out again, just cheat a reset on them and try again.) and i literally never use the highchair except to get the "try first food" and "try first finger food" milestones. i've had too many sims put a kid in that thing for no reason at all and then just walk away. without even feeding them.... school projects have no time limit. you could even buy them from build/buy and have a kid work one a day for more extra credit lol

  • if you want to try a really good fruitcake type pastry thing, you should try Panneton an Italian sweet bread the size and shape of a cake. its made in memory of what was considered a "minor miracle". the story goes the heir of a powerful (read dangerous) family fell in love with the beloved (read spoilt) daughter of a well to do local baker. the young man decides to demand the baker teach him to bake so he can prove his love to the girl or something. (I never listen to the reason he decided this was the best way to woo the girl but...) so the baker is kind of stuck... he can't refuse to teach the young man. so, the baker does but like a few months later the young man decides he's learned enough for his purpose. (Baking something good enough to impress the baker's daughter) the young man decides to make her a sweet bread, but he can't use the baker's recipe because that won't be impressive enough or something (maybe it started as a mistake, and he was trying to fix it who knows. oral history is nebulous and rife with inaccuracies) but he starts experimenting... in the end the young man makes this mound of dough that is full of fruit and too sweet to be a bread but is definitely not cake... but he bakes it and presents it to the girl who he introduces himself to as her father's newest apprentice. she takes a huge bite of the monstrosity and freezes... needless to say everyone (the baker and all of his family and assistants) are terrified, this spoilt girl has never been made to hold her tongue, and they are all sure she's about to crush this boy's heart, which will surely piss off his family... but she love it! the girl positively adores this giant sweet bread cake thing. so somehow this boy with like six months' worth of knowledge about baking makes a new type of pastry by what's probably accident. the spoilt girl who is known to be blunt and has never (verbally) sugarcoated anything falls in love with who she thinks is a nobody who begged her father to teach him a useful trade. in the end? nobody dies, to the Suprise of everyone but the lovebirds... who likely never realized how close to tragedy they came. the blunt girl became a blunt woman (now with significantly more backing than her father's meager fortune,) the proud boy became a proud man who never doubted his ability to do whatever he decided to do.

  • Ever since this legacy challenge started I find myself always checking for updates I just love this so much! I am just loving the family grow, change and skill up. Plus I find it so amazing the amount of dedication and commitment to really making the house a true Barbie experience. One thing is for sure I agree with Barbie on the fruitcake... there is no redeeming qualities in that ever.

  • Tip 10000 th lol jk but seriously as a gamer and person always doing LPs/Builds pro tip. When in build mode and you have auto lights on simply delete the light in the room or lights and do ctrl z (undo) untill all the lights are back or just the cceiling light and boom light in the room while in build mode
