  • see how he showcased how well trained the dog was by greeting the Lady, then throwing his hands up to surprise the dog, then petting the dog. Then to show the dog can distinguish targets he goes over over and interacts with the first target, then goes back to attack the lady to draw the attack onto himself. The Woman then tells the dog to suspend the attack and he immediately complies. That is the training you want a protection Dog to learn. A dog trained in that manner is balanced and stable in all situations.

He wouldn't go after their neck, he would go after their feet and bite their feet so they wouldn't continue the attack but he never, ever attacked first. He was the best Pitbull ever. Rest in peace Tank.

And do you say that to the police when they send the dog in to find the baddie that may have a bat, a knife or even a gun to not protect the owner half the time but to just apprehend the said baddie? • How do u work with a dog to be more aggressive?

      @FukcAUsername@FukcAUsername Жыл бұрын
    • @@FukcAUsername step 1) let your dog enjoy puppyhood, walk em, ensure he gets accustomed to all sorts of sounds, vehicles...even trains. 2)when he begins training (i like around the 8th month) ensure he is locked up when strangers come by to visit. Avoid every tom dick & harry playing with him....only those associated with him in daily life (the family, so to speak) 3) Get a trainer...search out a good one, get advice. Check out training schools that have a PROVEN track record....this is where agitation work will begin. 4) The trainer will take it from there, just follow his/her instructions because different trainers have different methods. You could also check police/security firm K9 units to get advice & recommendations. Don't go trying stuff on your own, you've already spent money on your dog...so let every cent be worth it. Also depending on what are your needs with the dog...breed selection is very important.

    • @@scotttam7491 I try to but I’m legally blind as well. I have 4: lab/pit is 4 and sweet but has aggressive tendencies. He’s never broken skin but very dominant. Too overprotective as in a person can’t hug me without a growl. If someone walks into my home he shuts the door in their face. One is a ten year old chihuahua/toy fox terrier and I trained her before I lost sight. She has no aggression, obedient and just a wonderful pet/family. The next is almost a year red nose pit, very calm towards most but hates men and shows them aggression. The last is 6 months red nose pit and she’s just playful right now and smart. All of them were rescued as puppies from my neighborhood by me. I just wish I knew someone that could teach me how to better understand them . I would rather learn to teach them correctly than to allow them to be euthanized. Right now I just can’t afford it because I just had to save the baby of the bunch and that cost a pretty penny because she had to be incubated after a reaction to lepto shot. Luckily the vets gave her three days free care after they saw I cared and spent every penny I had to save her. I rescued them so they could be comfortable. People were killing dogs so I rescued the last two. I just can’t watch a dog suffer and not be fed. They’re all house dogs and I can say they make me feel protected

He had bit someone but he was a total baby an lover I couldn't keep him cause o can't afford another dog and him an my dog fought over me basically cause they both loved me it.was tough but my friend has him now an he in a good place. I feel red noises can be a little more nippy but idk if thats only my incounters. I'm sure the younger ones can be trained rather quickly. If your serious about learning how to train them there alot of material out there on the subject. But personally I find most the time it's changing are habits as humans an habits we have with are pets that limit what are animals learn its not easy to put tge work into training. Thar being said you totally can do it your self I would recommend having the dogs run an burn a good amount of energy off first then start with simple commands. Sit stay lay down shake crawl all of those you can teach pretty quickly to most dogs then just use those commands an come up with tasks for the pups. Most dogs want to please u an they want to work so finding stuff for them to do builds there confidence in themselves and in u play fetch I no these gotta be hard being blind but use your disability as a way for the dogs to help u . Trust me they want to please you.

  • What a Beautiful & Awesome Bully and a true show of their character and what a member of the family they are when treaded with love. That Bully would do anything for her and for her protection. The way he released from the 1st threat to protect her from the 2nd threat shows how Awesome their true character and nature really are and what a great member of they family they are and would do anything to protect the family without thought for its own health like a parent would protect their child. That dog is just playing with him too look at him wagging his tail, he can turn it up as much as the threat really calls for towards her and or her commands. And in everyday life with the family I bet he just wants to love on everyone and be right beside them at all times and be apart of the family and what everyone is doing. I've seen Bully's that were rescued from being abused, locked up & neglected their entire lives and still all they wanted to do is love after being treated that way.
