    • The hit looks good. Especially when you consider the fencing phrase / time / action immediately upon corps a corps. The call was reversed upon video slow-motion replay, which might have affected the fencing time / action phrase. So perhaps trying to understand from the referee’s point of view, strictly technically speaking, after corps a corps, then the point is annulled. My main contention however is, if you were to annul the hit or award ‘pas de touche’ / no touch, why was the score not reduced? But it does look like a very valid hit nonetheless. ✌🏼

    • @@usjfencing Agreed. The C-a-C was done by Cannone, and Limardo Gascon's hit was in the same phrase. It wasn't like, "Bump," then "Oh, let me see if I can get a shot in!"
