Inverted Waterfall
We’ve seen hidden waterfalls, underwater waterfalls, frozen waterfalls, and lava falls. But just when we’re about to think we’ve seen it all, mother nature surprises us with more! On the western coast of Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher are a sight to see on any day but imagine seeing an upside-down waterfall there, too. If you go there on an especially windy day, you will witness what appears to be blatant defiance of gravity! It’s one of Ireland’s most popular tourist attractions. Winds blowing off the Atlantic Ocean can indeed be fierce. In this case, the wind decided to blow the water against its natural trajectory literally!
Golden Rock, Myanmar
Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, also commonly known as the Golden Rock, is one of those places that are a must-see on your bucket list! There’s some magic to this place, and the cultural factors and the spirituality add to its charm. It’s a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State, Burma. It’s a small pagoda built on the top of a granite boulder covered with golden leaves pasted on by its male devotees. According to local legends, the Golden Rock itself is standing on the strand of Buddha’s hair! This rock is uniquely situated amid lush tropical vegetation, and if you’re looking to relax and meditate, you’d love to visit this place.
