You don't need speed to dribble past player. Skills are just enough. And i dont mean skills like neymar, normal ball control is enough.Messi still can take on defenders if he wants to.
That's the reason why he is struggling in ligue 1, he can score outside the box goals against attacking teams but in ligue 1 everyone just parks the bus and he doesn't have any space neither he can dribble now. He is just old now and everyone says he can't play for other teams lol

Yeah you are right it's not because of messi not being perfect it's because of pep hee prepares every game so well and he has seen Leo Messi more than anyone as a manager, so he would have gave insights to Ruben dias and other defenders he might do that do this in that situation because messi scored a beautiful goal from the same position va Nantes so my point is messi was doing the same but city defenders were prepared for that.
