Actually, the Queen Mary is an ocean liner, the hull is very strong, double layered in fact, could survive the titanic iceberg in theory, very fast for a large ship and made to cut the waves at high speed. A cruise ship on the other hand, the hull is made out of paper compared with ocean liners, slow and don't cut waves very well. If an ocean liner can't handle it, a cruise would be obliterated to smitheries.

Its a scary thought... I went on a cruise and i was working out at night about 2am and leaning against the rail deck thinking, if i fell in who would know. Looking at the dark ocean thinking i wouldnt even know which way is land if i was in the water.
Actually, the Queen Mary is an ocean liner, the hull is very strong, double layered in fact, could survive the titanic iceberg in theory, very fast for a large ship and made to cut the waves at high speed. A cruise ship on the other hand, the hull is made out of paper compared with ocean liners, slow and don't cut waves very well. If an ocean liner can't handle it, a cruise would be obliterated to smitheries.
