I love A Walk to Remember is such a good movie. It's one of the few movies I ugly cry every time! Once Landon proposes and the theme plays I lose it every time! So beautiful and sad at the same time.
I clicked only to see if A Walk to Remember is the top NS adaptation and rightfully so. Jamie never tried to change Landon, he was inspired by her to change himself. She helped him to see the beauty of life, the gift of service and in turn he inspired her to live and step out of her comfort zone. It always reaffirms my faith in love every time I watch it

I also clicked to find out how A Walk to Remember was rated. I really love this movie and wanted to see it ranked well. I jumped from each ranking. When #3 came up I thought "I guess A Walk to Remember will be next. Everyone loves The Notebook so much it'll probably be #1." When I saw The Notebook as #2 I almost screamed. I love A Walk to Remember so much! It's my absolute favorite movie because it inspired me to want to be a better person like Jamie. I'm so glad that other people love this movie too 🤗

I can't believe Best of Me was so low on the list, that's one of my favorite ones, it always makes me cry
I will never forget being a young teenager when “A Walk To Remember” came out in theaters. Me and my best friend were at our second viewing at our small theater and we sat behind a man with his three daughters, the oldest probably being ten. When Landon goes back to visit Jamie’s father, this man was in tears. When Landon said, “I’m sorry Jamie never got her miracle.” this father of three, sobbing, said, “It was you!” before Peter Coyote got his line out. I will never forget being so touched and not being able to stop giggling at the same time!! That man was a good dad!! He just had to be.
That is an amazing story!
I gotta say The Longest Ride was good on the eyes thanks to Scott Eastwood but in all honestly the story of Ruth and Ira was 10 times better than Sofía and Luke.

What makes A Walk to Remember such a beautiful story is the purity of the love between Jamie & Landon. As he falls for her, he respects her faith and her choices, never pressures her into things she doesn’t want, and he does his hardest to make her happy and make as many of her dreams come true with her time left. He does it out of unconditional love. She shows him everything he can do with his life and makes him believe in a future for himself and that’s exactly what love should be.
The Choice was one of my favorites, the leads were fantastic and had such beautiful chemistry

My love for Mandy Moore introduced me to A Walk to Remember. And then when I realized it was based off a book I was a goner. I’ve read and own all of Sparks books. He’s such an amazing writer wish he had more diverse characters. 😭

I can’t believe Dead John was so high and The Best of Me was so low. The Best of Me is my favorite, I wouldn’t put it at #1 though because it is a little over the top but still. Dear John wasn’t an enjoyable movie to me at all.

My favourite is the underrated "The Last Song". My family and friends mostly love "the notebook" , "a walk to remember" & "safe haven" just because it's anticipated & the only novels from Nicholas Spark that they've had read.
The last song is my favorite as well the chemistry between Liam and Miley was so strong and the storyline between Ronney and her father was so good and broke me in the end.

A walk to remember for sure. I mean the book and the film both are amazing. I crying over and over again while watching by just how Landon looking at Jamie every time, it's killed. I also read that book and love every words there. Moore and West did a good job.

I’ve only actually seen like 2 or 3 of these but I’ve heard and seen scenes from almost all of them. Walk To Remember is my favorite out of the few I’ve seen. I always cry. It’s so good and so sweet.
The younger me would without a doubt say that The Notebook is my favorite, but now as an adult I'd say A Walk to Remember is my favorite❤️ I still love The Notebook, the chemistry is amazing but their relationship was quite unhealthy (however they were so beautiful together as an old couple).

I went by the movie not my favourite books. My fave books would be much different.
The Best of Me was one of the best Nicholas Sparks books I've ever liked. But they totally butchered that movie. It's set in the 1980s not the 90s, Amanda didn't have brown hair she had blonde hair. There's all these little changes that ruin it for me. Since Sparks produces his own movies you would think he'd want the characters in the movie to look how they were in the book. The storyline is awesome however.

I loved the book, but it was the casting that ruined the movie for me. The younger and older versions are nothing a like and could have so easily been played by one actor across both ages
@@zoeyx9821 I agree. Unfortunately, I cried watching this movie because of what could have been. Paul walker was set to play the older male lead. That’s why the younger version is blonde. Unfortunately, he died unexpectedly. The movie then cast James Marsden and I’ve never stopped thinking about what could have been with Walker. 😣

Since this title is “Adaptations”, I’m sorry but A Walk To Remember is NOTHING like the book. I absolutely think it’s a teen drama classic, but it’s not a “best adaptation” in my opinion since it’s the farthest from the book... but jut my opinion, you can absolutely disagree with me, just know I’m not saying my opinion is the only one or trying to argue ✌🏻
I absolutely wanted A walk to remember to be number one. But I agree it’s nothing like the book, I remember reading the book after I had watched the movie a million times and I felt like I was reading a completely different story
My bro told me the meaning of the book's title since in the book jaime struggled to get down the aisle since her cancer made her ill to do stuff. Still, did like the change from book to movie where landon and his dad have a heart to heart.

He doesn’t really have a relationship with his dad, then he does the home care thing for Jamie, and it says for the first time ever he cried in his dad’s arms 🤷🏼♀️ Again, if anyone loves that it was #1 on this list, that’s awesome 👍🏻. I think it’s just the “logic” of being the “best adaptation” when I’ve read most of the books and A Walk to Remember is by far the most different from the movie

I've only read a few Nichols Sparks books and seen some of these films before I knew they were books. I think "Two by Two" would be an AMAZING film because it made cry which is EXTREMELY RARE. It gave me perspective what my dad must've felt when he and my mom split when I was young.

I've watched Most of Nicholas Sparks film adaptation and they were all good but for me #1 is The Notebook and #2 is A Walk To Remember. For these two movies my tear ducts kept on flowing. I love how AWTR lessons of encouragement and faith but TN will never be lost because the lovestory of Ally and Noah stood the test of time.
