  • Next puzzle: Unlock a lock. One way to do it is trying to pick the lock. You may end up trying for hours and may end up being unsuccessful. The other way is with a key.

  • The third way (without breaking it) is to take it in an airplane. Get up to speed, then pitch up. Then adjust pitch rate to get zero gravity. Then simply move the bottle around the ball. Once the ball is in the tube, return to normal gravity. Easy!

    • @@fulltimeslackerii8229 the puzzle came with the paper The challenge is to get the ball out and the first thing that comes to mind is to shake it out The deception is that the paper is not a part of the puzzle but the puzzle makers intended for the paper to be part of the solution You are not adding another third party solver to the puzzle like wires or other paper, because the paper by itself is part of the solution Do I seriously to copy and paste the dictionary definition of a puzzle? Its an elementary level puzzle but it can stomp anyone who doesn't pay attention to what they have at hand My final point is stop being salty at not being able to solve a puzzle if you can't literally think outside the box

  • Option 1: Break the glass/plastic Option 2: Twist and pull the tube with sufficient force to release it from the bottom of the puzzle, then turn the puzzle upside down and roll the ball to and through the hole

  • Better way of doing it is by having a metal ball, and a mechanism in the lid where if you turn it, it'll raise a magnet towards the surface in the center below the tube so that it can interact with the ball so you can line it up and gently turn it upside down. Would be a much more interesting puzzle that way

    • I was thinking this one could be solved by pouring water into it but I don't know if the ball would float or not, and that could be an important factor. If it does, you can effectively change the "height" it sits at.

  • Man, people are completely missing the point of this, I think it's quite a clever trick. It doesn't actually introduce any outside elements, it's not cheating, it's 100% intended to be used. The hint is literally on the paper: "Use the map for your way out" and it's perfectly sized. Even better, it gets the point of its creation across. You can stumble around the subway confused, take many trains and maybe get lucky, or you can use the map and have a much easier time. I quite like it and it's a clever logic puzzle, not sure why everyone's harping on about it not being a valid puzzle/valid solution.

Some puzzles show you the key and you have to figure out how to get there, but a lot of puzzles require figuring out what the key is. The presentation doesn't suggest anything, in my opinion, but the tools come with the puzzle so I have no issue with it.

Maybe fill it with water through the tube and use the water vortex to get the ball in position Not sure if it'd work, but that's what I'd have tried
