Rim Guard goes right inside your tires, so it's out of the way, it doesn't freeze, and doesn't corrode. It's made from natural materials, so it's safe around livestock and pets if it spills out. • I've had a 41 hp Kioti for 12 years now and have put it through the paces including bush hogging, snowblowing 3 long driveways and a parking lot, loading a sawmill, tilling, logging, etc. It's a heavy, well built tractor.

    • My biggest Kioti struggle is that there’s no dealer support in my area. They seem like a fine machine, a friend’s dad has one that I’ve messed with. A lot of bang for your buck there.

  • I did a lot of homework before I bought mine and bang for the buck Kioti was awesome. Then put what they offer for a warranty and it was the clear choice for me. No hate for Kubota or JD but I am super happy with my choice.

  • I purchased a Kioti CK 2620 cab hst se. I have ten hours on it and so far no complaints. It’s big enough to dig and load what I need but small enough to cut the grass. The size is great for maintaining trails. The CK and DK cabs fit through a eight foot garage door which was important.

    • The CK (and presumably its Bob Cat equivalent) is a very beefy and capable machine in that 25 HP category, IMO matched only by the 2515 TKM/Branson (and its Bad Boy equivalent).

  • Hi Courtney, I have had a Kioti (CK3510se) for two years now and couldn’t be happier. It has far exceeded my expectations and no complaints or issues so far. I have a small channel that I have done several videos using various attachments. Good luck with the Kioti’s. I think it is a great choice.

  • I’m glad to see your critiques of Kioti. That’s my plan is to buy a Kioti. Solid stable company that makes their own equipment. The lifting stats by far exceed a comparable Kubota You should check out a new CK20SE with all the upgrades such as standard rear remotes and such.

  • I have a CK3510SE with a backhoe and bucket. The reason I bought it was the bucket and backhoe lifted and dug higher and lower, it had a larger hydraulic pump and it was heavier than the comparable JD.

  • Owned a Kioti DK40SE for 10 years. Beast of a tractor. I run a sawmill and log with my tractors, so I really put them through the paces. I put 1,500 hours on it and it never let me down. I recently traded for an LS MT3-57 cab/hst tractor. My reasoning was because my local Kioti dealership came under new ownership, and the new dealership is less than impressive.. I was interested in an NX model, but the sales staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. So I checked out an LS at my local LS dealer and it impressed me. In the past, I know you reviewed an LS. However, it was a lower end model. I am hoping in the future, you review an MT-3 series (premium) LS model. I have 300 hours on it so far and I am very impressed. It stands right next to my old KIOTI as far as quality and durability. LS is constantly improving their machines, and trust me, the MT3 series is formidable.

The factory radio sucks! Don't get get the factory radio option. Buy a head unit and speakers online. Also, I'm 6'7" and fit pretty good in the cab.

  • I have had a Kioti DK4710se HST with a cab for a few years now (maybe 4 years now). Growing up working on the family farm, we mainly ran large John Deere tractors. Obviously, having an established relationship with the local/regional John Deere dealers I started there. I originally looked at John Deere and Kubota, but the price quotes turned me to looking at other brands, mainly LS and Kioti. Sure, I wish my Kioti had some more creature comforts that the major brands offer, but my cab tractor with loaded rear tires, additional rear SCV (2nd), and 3rd function was considerably less (multiple thousands of dollars) than that of the major brands with an open station came in at. If you're in the market I would highly suggest for people in the market for a tractor to look at Kioti and LS tractors.

  • Nice review! Nice tractor! I'm not a cab guy, but the visibility on that cab seems awesome. The reason the "Forward" pedal is closest to the operator is common equipment design. Controls are always placed in a configuration where the most often used controls are closest to the operator and the least used the farthest. Mobile cranes and road graders both having many controls are two good examples.

  • I'm glad to see you enthused about this machine and hope you do keep one to see how well it performs, I own a Bobcat 2025 and have not been disappointed. I do think they are stronger than the green ones of comparable size/hp in numerous ways. The unfortunate thing is I believe some dealers that do the final setup either don't know how to or don't care what they send out the door, I chose a reputable long established dealer and have not had any issues and have actually had them make a home repair for a factory service bulletin that I wasn't aware of. As you know service and support is just as important as the machine you buy. If the 2 tractors you have doesn't have an option called link pedal you should add it (pretty simple to install) works great for loader work. Keep the great videos coming!!

  • Thanks for all the valuable information on this video and videos past. I have learned a lot and appreciate the safety tips in past videos. Recently purchased 76 acres in Iowa and looking forward to purchasing a tractor in the spring. One of the challenges I am having is find the right size for the property - I feel a sweet spot would be 35-40 HP. Keeping in mind that I have farmer fiends who have the machinery to do the heavy lifting needed on rare occasions. I like how the tractor in your video is compacted enough for getting around tight wooded areas and enough HP when needed. Much if the advise I get is “ it’s better to have more and not need it, than need it and not have it.” Experience level with tractors - is minimal- drive a 30HP 2003 JD back in the day for brush hogging fields - but that’s it.

  • I love this channel, so much good information. Interestingly I just started watching a couple weeks ago and started with the older videos first, and that is when you were hard core John Deere or Kubota only lol. The closest Kioti dealer to my house is 250 miles away, and the closest John Deere dealer is 125 miles away. However, for the money, and what you get, I am willing to make the longer drive, and I do all of my own servicing so the only time it would need to go back in is for warranty. So I ordered a new DK4520 and cannot wait to get it. I will be checking the Good Works Tractors website for implements and attachments as soon as I get my new tractor home...

  • I have a 2022 Kioti CK2610 HST SE with Cab, and the thing is a beast. It can easily be ramped up from 24 HP to 44 HP is 2 hours or less and doing so without the emission control system that larger tractors have to endure. It came with duel hydraulic rear remotes, rear wiper with fluid revisor, the seat came with arm rests and the HVAC system is fantastic. The tractor is a little tippy and could use some liquid ballast to help keep the back end on the ground when lifting heavy items. We use the thing all the time. I recently bought a 72 inch rear mounted snow blower for this winter and honestly can't wait for the first big snow. I plan on adding a radio inside at some point. The price new was excellent as well at $32,500 delivered to my front door. Bobcat has almost the exact same tractor for $45,000 and the Bobcat has a lower bucket lifting capacity. It was a great buy and I have Zero regrets.

My tractor has arm rests, I wonder if yours originaly had them but were not attached? Maybe that prior owner didn't like them . . . So far I've not seen a Kioti w/out arm rests - but that might of been how the dealer orders them. My guess it's a quick upgrade . . . I put a gravel weight box (thanks for harping on rear weight!) on the back (no fluid in the rear tires) and for my purposes works great - lifting hay bales safely out of our pickup truck. The Speeco 3pt quick attach (Or whatever they're called) works great on them. JD and Kuboto are great machines, but with the money I saved that went to 3rd function, grappler, fork lift, gravel box, brush hog, hydraulic 3 point top link, post hole auger and more. So far mine has been easy to work on, but I'm not looking forward to swapping batteries when the time comes 😉

  • So I’ve known a lot of guys like you who never touch the stereo. I think I’m one of the very few who uses it. Not having a Bluetooth stereo in my tractor would almost down it for me. I even put sound absorbing material on the floor under the factory mat. I also plan to upgrade the speakers. 9:52 I totally get what you’re saying about the battery being in a goofy spot. The advantage is allowing more air flow through the coolers. The engine usually doesn’t overheat, but the engine oil and hydraulic oil run hot. Higher temperatures reduce oil life and is hard on the hydraulic system seals and hoses. Most users it’s no big deal. Heavy mowing in the heat or heavy duty transmission use can build a lot of heat to dump. Just something to consider 😎

I went to a JD dealer in Central, OR and I had every intention on buying a JD tractor. Except we couldn't get anyone at the dealership to help us. We left and I bought a Mahindra, that day. I wish the 1526 had better hydraulic system. This tractor is very similar in foot print with much higher hydraulic specs. I don't need the enclosure. Thanks for the information.

  • I wanted a 3R but the price was just out of reach. Our local Kioti dealer doesn’t seem very devoted to the brand or reaching the non commercial homeowner/homesteader. The more affordable options for us came down to New Holland or Branson (now TYM). I wound up going with a TYM 4820 with a cab and I’d honestly put it right there with Kioti. The dealer density is the one place that I’d give the nod to the Kioti but if many of their dealers are under-committed to the brand like ours then that dealer density may be somewhat overstated. TYM tractors with the TYM diesel (formerly Kukje) is also all mechanical injection so no ECU to deal with. I’m 6’5” and have quite a bit of room to spare in my 4820 cab. I’d bet it would be good to 6’8” or so.

I noticed that other than Deere, Kubota and even the Mahindra dealer most other dealers were kind of rinky dink places where they sold other things primarily (trailers, other equipment, feed store supplies) and sold tractors on the side plus seeing these same type places open and close in a matter of years or switch tractors brands they sold in that same amount of time but that was just was the situation in my area hopefully its better elsewhere.

  • Actually I would say the Kioti DK series matches more so with the John Deere 4 Series and Kubota MX5400/MX6000 series. The DK10 series is meant to be an economy type tractor whereas the DK10SE series is offered in Hyrdostat trans. but the SE has more features. With the loader lift being over 2400 lbs, the rear lift is over 2700 lbs, and the weight with a loader make it well over 5000 lbs. That surpasses the JD 4 Series by a lot with it being able to handle more. The JD and kubota might weigh a little more but they're all within the same range of tractor size. Overall the Kioti is much more capable with a far better price point than the JD 4 Series and the Kubota MX series. My brother has a DK5010 shuttle shift and he loves it. He has the rear tires loaded and a 3rd function, and it weighs over 5700lbs. Kioti has come a long way, they're giving JD & Kubota a run for the money!

  • Nice review. Looks like a nice machine but I"ll stay with my Kubotas for now :). Not a cab guy either. Had an M7040 with a cab and it was more of an inconvenience than a comfort. So, to your question about a radio; no way. I prefer to hear what my machine and the implement is doing. If I were a professional farmer or heavy equipment operator who spends nearly all day every day on a machine I would definitely appreciate the benefits of a cab and a radio but not a fan being a non-professional. Thanks.

I know they upgrade all of the buckets to 66" instead of 60" because its only $40 more at the time of order. I assume the arm rests are a similar deal. • The only real complaint I have with my DK5310 with the cab is the there is no grab handle on the right (control) side and its a bear to get in or out on that side, especially for a 6'4" 325# guy. I put a bluetooth radio in and I wasn't satisfied with the speakers and I just use my ear buds when I know the kids are in the house away from me. I do use the radio if munchkins are running around.

    • I bet it's a bear without those steps! Growing up I was taught to always mount a tractor from the left; I was never given a specific reason, but it sure stuck. Looking back I'm thinking maybe because there has never been any consistency on right-side entry. 🤣

  • Too funny! “This doesn’t have a third function, but it’s got the provision; like right where you would mount it.” It has two holes drilled on the loader cross-member. That’s the provision??? That’s like me building a home for one of my customers and saying, “No ma’am. We don’t put windows in your new home when we build it. However, we do make provision holes in the outside walls for those windows.” Maybe I’m wrong, but after watching several videos it seems that Good Works Tractors would try to sell ice to Inuit people. It also seems that the best tractor is the one he’s selling. And he is always selling. “Always Be Closing!” Does this shoot a hole in the “five reasons John Deere are better…?” Now will it be 24 reasons to buy Kioti in 2024? I have a similar tractor, open station. I have a few family members who also run similar Kioti tractors. You say, “I have found the loader controls to be very smooth.” I do not find the hydraulic controls smooth compared to other makes I have owned or used. I do however find them incredibly “responsive.” In fact, I would actually call them “touchy.” And it may take a new operator a bit of time to get used to how quickly these controls respond, especially if you are using pallet forks and trying for delicate precision. Anyway. It is a beautiful tractor, and you say you are going to keep it; yet you are doing a great job trying to close the deal now. :) “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10 KJV) Amen! I’m very curious if this Bible passage is what you are referencing in the name of your business? After all, “Jesus answered them, ‘Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me’?” (John 10:32 KJV) just doesn’t seem like a verse a retail sales business would base its sales strategies on.

  • I currently have a Kubota LX3310 and I put it on the market for sale and I’m upgrading to the CK3520se cab. The features you get for the price are crazy. It actually makes my LX seem generic. That’s not the main reason. A heavier tractor, better loader with better lift capacity. I do driveway work and the extra weight to pull a box blade up hills and loader will help day and night. Did I mention a cab as well? Lol. Same financing and warranty as Kubota. Plus the tractor with the tires loaded, the loader and a cab is less than the package I paid for my open station LX. Excited to give Kioti a try!
