@@Dzajvik Perch RNG is randomized except for the fact that the max perch time is 3 minutes.
@@Dzajvik no dragon perch is not standardized, cuz it depends on the position of the player (if I'm not wrong) and the amount of crystals, etc. Etc..
Ranked is the best thing to happen to Minecraft since the 1.16 update. What you,Oliver and the rest of the crew involved have been able to achieve is nothing short of incredible. Keep up the good work

I love how you always explain everything throughout your videos so anyone new (or anyone who forgot) can follow what you are saying and what is going on. I didn’t particularly care before, but I’m starting to a bunch of manhunts with my friends and so any tips I get from casually watching you is great. A full video on everything speed-running would be great too (I’ll check to see if you don’t already have one after this!) Edit: there is a whole playlist full of stuff. This guy is awesome. It’s all two years old, but I don’t think speedrunning has changed much since then, so it should be fine.
i definitely plan on doing a major tutorial at some point!

@@yooki198 unverifiable because it is ranked! Basically only decent seeds and you play against another runner and try to beat the game first. Both of you have the same seed, same rng for the most part, and same skill level using an elo system. This is not really RSG.

@@e-666 But still seeds that are way more feasible to roll in RSG, about the same quality of seeds fein and doog roll in their daily sub 10 runs. No ones gonna roll a sub 6 or sub 5 seed in RSG for a very long time

Couri I just found an insane seed, it is 2343033212188822546, u spawn abt 200 blocks from a shipwreck which gives u iron, and a lava pool is on the way, u spawn 150 blocks from a treasure, unfortunately the fortress is 500 blocks out, but blinding at the fort puts u 400 blocks from the stronghold

@Infernic I was able to get a 19 ish minute run without knowing the seed, if couri plans it well enough he could get like an 11 min run. But yeah the stuff is a Lil far away

One thing I don’t understand in speedrunning is when they are one cycling how beds just appear in their hands
If you click a block with your scroll wheel, it will pull that block from elsewhere in your inventory and put it in the highlighted spot on your hotbar.

No. The dragon perch is not standardized except for in a few details. The reason is that decisions the player makes can affect the speed and reliability of the perch to some extent, and the player base by and large doesn't want that taken away. (There have been dozens of tournaments that have dealt with the perch issue in various ways, so a lot of different options have had exposure.) Also it would make the end of the runs quite boring and increase forfeits if you knew that by entering the end ten seconds later it was already all over.
