  • Don’t get me wrong but I think Kang Daniel is the dark horse among top tier artist, like we know what he can do, we know his success, he know his accomplishments but with that being said something about him has the dark horse energy. Like he is someone who you know will succeed but with the way he looks and acts you won’t expect him to SWALLOW UP THE KPOP INDUSTRY. The power he holds, he will be relevant for decades to come, and will be a legend forever.

  • Most people may not even know Kang Daniel’s story, but once you know the full story, you will know how strong of a fighter Daniel is. Being a fan of Daniel since his produce days, it really hurt knowing what he had been through; but like what Daniel himself said, he is over that phase and is now comfortable enough to be addressing it. Issues like depression, anxiety and panic disorder etc can be experienced by anyone, especially for those in the Korean entertainment industry, but we rarely hear much since artists and their agencies consider it a career-killing move to make it known. I’m just so proud of Daniel for always taking the unconventional route courageously, despite the immerse amounts of pressure he experienced from all those who tried to break him and his career. I want to thank him for sharing his story and not giving up when he was feeling the worst. I hope he shines more than ever and be happy and healthy always. He really deserves the best.

  • "Kang Daniel is not just an Idol, he is an inspiration!" To be honest, I haven't heard of him or any of his songs before. I first saw him on an interview by ABS-CBN few days ago. While the interview goes on, this songs played on background. I was like "man this sounds so good". I am a Blackjack and since the disbandment of 2NE1, I only listened to G-Idle, KARD, Blackpink, Somi, IU, and Hwasa, therefore I haven't heard of him. Searched him on youtube, found out he joined Produce 101 and ended as THE CENTER of the group Wannaone. Searched his songs such as Jealous, Interview, 2U, Flash, Refresh, Movie, etc. He's got some skills! His music sounds different! Tried to watch every performances and interviews of his while on Produce 101, from that iconic "33" score to finally becoming the "Nation's Center", and I was like "the humbleness is overflowing". I also watched an interview where he said that his ultimate goal is "not to break records, but to create something, provide hope for fans and listeners, and be a supportive energy" man, humbleness at its finest! I was literally teary-eyed while watching that interview, after learning a lot from him, from his Produce 101 journey, being a hard working idol, getting lots of hates, going on hiatus, coming back, even beating the Pope's record on insta..... Kang Daniel is not just an Idol, he is literally an inspiration! ❤️ I hope one day, I get to see him personally and tell him how he inspired me so much, especially now that I am in a process of overcoming one of the darkest days of my life ( not being able to pass my licensure exam!

  • Kang Daniel is so underrated. Hopefully PARANOIA is an eye-opener to many people. World need to see this guy. When he does music, he did it with passion, hardwork & determination. He put soul in it. And when he performs on stage, his charm and aura of charisma is overflowing. Not to mention his exquisite dance & beautiful voice are amazing. Kang Daniel has that x-factor.

  • Sometimes I look at Daniel and can't believe my taste. It feel surreal that the guy who at first I liked for how he performed someone else's song (Sorry Sorry) turned out to release some of my favorite songs ever. The guy who was Wanna One's lead rapper and subvocalist turned out to have one of the most pleasant vocal tones in K-pop after getting vocal training. The guy who used to sing whatever songs he received and do whatever schedules he had, turned out to be amazingly creative and capable of coming up with unique concepts when he was finally allowed to have creative input. He was totally born to be a musician and it's insanely satisfying to be part of his journey.

    • @@shookyinsin715 He didn't leave. They were a temporary group with a 1.5 years contract. When the contract expired they just disbanded. All the members re-debuted as either soloists or in other groups.

    • @@potatopotatoeOG He was a part of the reality show for Idols and won 1st place and became center of the group Wanna One. People got so jealous of his rising success and popularity that they started targeted harassment against him. And it became worse when the group disbanded after their 1.5 years and he went solo. He had to fight a lawsuit against his company because they sold his rights to 3rd party illegally. The hate worsened when he debuted solo because he broke all records and sold 500+k physical copies which were never heard of from a soloist. At one point it became so bad that he took a hiatus from work because of anxiety and panic disorder in late 2019. But he came back and now he's out there with full force conquering everything like a King that he is. If you're interested, you can read more about him. He's a great person.

  • Anyone can make a "dark concept" just putting on some thick eyeliner, makeup, impactful clothes. The visual part is easy. But writing dark lyrics and making the song itself dark, with the lyrics, the sounds, the beat. That's a different level of darkness, and Daniel did it sooo well. Props to him for that.

  • -The eye imagery, the contrast between the innocent left eye from the start and almost demonic right eye glowing red in the end. -stage thorns pointing at the protagonist, dancers pulling him around, and his twitches and moves in an attempt to escape from his monsters. -transitions, color choices, lens flares, stage design. -orchestra elements, Alto singing, and the whistle almost mocking the misery. -the hidden symbols, and the revelation that paranoia and anxiety that is essentially himself is what's literally holding him prisoner and killing him. It's been a while since I've seen a music video this detailed and artistic.
