  • I didn’t know you added the clay for the features. I had is I my head you started with a big lump of clay and took away clay as you sculpted. Every day is a learning day.

  • Somewhere between a wire ball+ smashing foil and the 2nd layer on the face, a head shape with eye sockets happened. That's the part I'm missing 😂

  • Thank you thank you for explaining why sculptors use foil its for pressure. I didn't know why? And thanks for doing two part on norm so your technique can be seen I've asked so many to not use speed and do in parts so I can learn, but they pay no attention. You can't call your video a tutorial if it's on speed and your all over the place and we the audience miss out on major things of what you're doing. Nice work by the way keep it comin

    • I’ve honestly gotten away with using paper clips. The thicker the wire, the more stability, but you can use thin wire for more flexibility. Just make sure you use several pieces if it’s thin or bunch it up (like in the video) so it still has structure.

    • It depends on the clay you use, this tutorial was made using polymer clay. Whenever you buy the clay it’ll have baking instructions, for polymer clay you just use a conventional oven. For example, super sculpey bakes at 275 F for 15 minutes per each quarter inch of thickness. With this technique, you’d probably bake for around 15-30 minutes depending on size and amount of clay used.
