That poor clutch got ridden more than $15 azz in TJ.
Dudes toasting the throw out bearing
Yeah, and laying on that clutch a bit too much
What is that burning smell? Oh yeah, the clutch.
Constructive criticism: 1. With a hifi pickup mix like this, don’t put the plate in the window bare, put something around it to prevent that rattle. Keep the mic from your mouth or seatbelt, hearing everything. I swear you were chewing something (just sounds that way) 2. If you drove rough like this, maybe… reshoot and cut out the bad points. Like the panic shifting. 3. Camera angle for POV: it’s stressful not seeing over the wheel. This has been the most anxiety inducing video I’ve seen in my life. Not trying to be mean, just honest.
I appreciate your honestly! I'm still getting used to recording and how to properly set up the right way with equipment but each time I do learn something new and how to do it better the next time.
"panic shifting" 🤣 dude was breathing HEAVILY
Is the dash fully digital and does it have a gear indicator?
So the dash is fully digital(center part) and unfortunately doesn’t have a gear indicator the only thing it has that is “close” would be the shift light indicator where it goes from green to yellow to red as you climb in rpm
Garden city New York?
I drive a 93 civic hatch this looks super futuristic
Honda did a great job with the interior I love it especially the new type r interior 👌 I just wish it has the 10th gen exterior
My 2005 honda civic just died. It needs 4000 worth of repairs to get it safetied. Im either going to buy a 2012 civic SI for 15k ... or a brand new 2024 civic SI finance at 7% :/
@@pi286Dang did you make your decision?
Buying winter beater car and get civic next year lol@@thatboynio
@@pi286what happened to it? My stock clutch just went out in my 97 Civic EX coupe last year. I put a brand new stage 1 in it and it runs better at 170k than it did at 100k. I'm probably going to change my timing belt at some point to be safe.
Looks like a dealer car that somebody is going to buy and it already had the shit beat out of it during your “nice drive” before the engine is properly broken in. Feel sorry for the person that is going to get it.
I wouldn’t say I beat on it granted that I had a miss shift due to the cars that I’ve owned and driven in the past never had a short gear ratio like this car has. Again I wouldn’t say I abused the car but also if I’m not mistaken car manufacturers do test the cars performance etc. prior to being delivered to the dealership. But I hope you were able to enjoy the video tho or other videos I’ve posted!
@@thatboynio dude you rode tf out of the clutch the entire drive!! I would never drive any manual car you ever touched! What a disgrace!
@@thatboynioyou drove the car just fine. These cars can take some real abuse and you definitely didn’t abuse it. You didn’t even redline the car. 😂 the hate is real so keep enjoying and abusing the car. We definitely drive ours and I’m sure the next owner will enjoy it as well.
Car Pov the best content 👏
Thank you, still experimenting with how to record it but I plan to do more of it!!
Oh you EXTRA new to the manual club. I forgot this is rare to these new gen Z kids 🤣
:/ Been daily driving manual since 2019... and I have a bike. Will say this car felt completely different from my 10th gen Si so my shifting work wasn't as good as usual.
The flywheel will soon be ejected based on his driving shifting process
Is all that rattling normal?
There was a dealer plate in the window that I didn't think would pick up as much as it did.
Bro you fucked the car up 💀.
Coasting in neutral 🤪
Yessir!!
For god sake man doesn’t your foot and leg get tired from engaging the clutch and having it in gear for that long. Forget about the car you gotta hate driving a manual transmission if you driving it like that
It's not as bad with the newer cars. My 10th gen Si and Elantra N clutches are SUPER light compared to my 2010 CC that is like pushing in the brakes when the car is off.
I miss driving a standard transmission car.
Super fun and if it's possible I would say having a second car that's manual is awesome!
poor clutch
Car felt different compared to my 10th gen Si not sure if it was cause it hasn't been broken in yet.
Bro can't drive it 😂😂😂
It felt verry different to drive compared to my 10th gen Si.
