I love technos well how it's so personal like it's an actual will like "tell Nikki and Ranboo they're stronger than they know" and the "I hope Tommy finds what he's looking for no matter what that is" it almost brings tears to my eyes

I have watched this so many times today. At first I couldn’t stop crying, but although it still aches and probably will for a long time, this creation helps. Something made from the best of what this community has to offer is now a tribute to one of the greatest people. It is art like this that will sustain his memory. Rest In Peace Technoblade

The whole smp just bring so many emotions, we as the watchers feel the rise and fall of the characters, we feel their successes and their failures, we feel their excitement and their losses. But most of all........we feel their freedom and it's great it makes my heart swell and makes my heart hurt. I laugh with them all and cry with them and I wouldn't change it for the world. Thank you for your animating of the smp it bring the strongest moments of those emotions back and I love it. I can't thank you enough for your animations
I have been having a really difficult time recently, dealing with heavy emotions and family issues. I just started the dream smp series earlier this week and it seems to be the thing keeping me going right now. I'm so grateful to these amazing creators

This would be how I describe my empath abilities, feeling other’s emotions and pain, both physical and mental, like they are my own. It’s an amazing gift for sure, allowing me to be escape and be happy, but not something I should have in my town, it’s more of a curse here.

I really like techno’s character in the SMP even when Tommy hurt him he still cared about him. Telling Phil to give him a a last message if he didn’t come back. Techno makes rash decisions but none without reason, and even those who’ve hurt him he still cares about. A+

After the news we received today, coming back to this video has been an experience. Whilst I know that the young man we lost wasn’t the same as his Minecraft character, I truly believe that Technoblade has ascended to another level of being. He is off to other battlefields, where he will continue to reign supreme. Technoblade never dies, and he will never leave us.
He was a warrior not just in game but a warrior in real life for his battle with cancer a true man of his word and a soul who deserves his rightfall place in the thrown of a true warrior and as the person he is . Thank you 😊 techno for the memories and the laughs 😂

Imagine an alternate timeline where techno did end up dying in the prison (all canon lives gone) and now Phil is incharge of The Syndicate and that's how the next "season" of the Dream SMP goes with Phil, Rambo, and Niki going to destroy the prison, free Dream, and use his knowledge of the revive book to get techno back. (Maybe have Rambo unlocking more enderman powers in the process and phil getting his wings back somehow?)
Wouldn't it be really traumatic for Ramboo to have to team up with Dream, though? Really, isn't it still going to be really terrifying for him to have Dream and Techno on good terms and working together?

It honestly made me so happy to hear the part about Tommy... Despite their conflicts and betrayals, Techno still hopes Tommy finds what he's looking for and gets a happy ending. Guess when you're preparing to die, you wouldn't have the need for anger anymore.

This... this is beautiful... and I know it was made long ago when the audio first came to existence... but this is truly a beautiful tribute to technoblade and the legacy he has left behind in both the smp and the world he has left behind. I do find myself wondering, though: if Techno does still care about Tommy, even if only a little bit, then how is he going to react when he hears about Dream killing and reviving him? (Specifically, when he hears about how traumatized Tommy was -- he didn't seem too phased hearing about Tommy's death, but he also explicitly said he hadn't heard about how it had affected him.) Would Techno confront Dream? If so, would Dream be able to admit that he'd crossed a line, or would he just deflect and evade, as always? So many directions this can go.
I know this is just Technos will on the Dream SMP but his last sentence just hit different…

Quackity and Sam sealing a deal, Dream and Techno in the prison, Technoblade dodging Quackity's swings (that was actually so c o o l it's the first time I see this scene with Techno actively defending himself I think????) The bit with Tommy b r o k e me, my heart is shattered Philza's fond expressions and the bits to show emerald duo interactions???? I KNOW, RIGHT?!? I especially love how the characters are portrayed in this. Like you said, it's probably one of the only animatics I've seen where Techno's actively defending himself (which is so weird, since that's exactly what he was doing in the actual stream: running around dodging Quackity, pushing back against Quackity's intimidation -- even trying to shove him into the lava when he saw an opportunity). It's spot on. I also really like that Dream's shown as an actual person with human emotions, instead of some creepy SCP-looking goblin. I'm not at all a fan of c!Dream as a person, but to me the whole unsettling horror of the situation is seeing how an ordinary person can be corrupted to that extent, and by extension how other ordinary people (cough*Quackity*cough) can become as bad or even worse. It's especially scary to me, since I think a lot of what made Dream so terrible (aside from a burning desire for power/control) was his decision to dehumanize Tommy, to say "this is the bad person, I'm going to torment him, and I'm going to enjoy doing so." But now we have a whole lot of content creators actively dehumanizing someone to justify treatment that should make anyone's skin crawl, and . . . I fear no man, but this thing scares me. So seeing Dream looking like a normal person with understandable motivations is honestly a breath of fresh air.

I wonder if I could run one of my favorite theories past you, since . . . well . . . it makes sense to me, but I'm honestly not sure where reasonable character inferences end and my own personal headcanon begins. See, you mentioned seeing parallels between Tommy's exile and Dream's imprisonment (and I _very much_ agree), but I also can't help but feel that there's at least as strong a parallel between Tommy and Techno. To the best of my knowledge we don't have any real backstory on c!Techno yet, but he makes a lot of sense to me as a character with some level of past trauma at least equal to Tommy's time in exile -- just with, you know. Governments. He comes across as a man who's been totally broken down, who's had to rebuild himself from the ground up, and who's done so in a way that he can never again be put in *that* situation again. He's an excellent fighter, he's constantly grinding for good enough gear to be able to take down the entire server, if need be, but he's really not that interested in being in a position of power: he just wants to be able to take down governments and be left alone. And then, too, there's his reaction to finding Tommy hiding out at his house. They hadn't parted on anything like good terms, but then he finds this half-mad child hiding under his floorboards eating gapples by the handful like they're peanut m&ms and saying "Dream is my friend PLEASE DON'T LET HIM FIND ME!!!" and I feel like, on some level, Techno kind of goes _Well alright. I see what's happened here. We'll get you some sleep and a box to hide in, and eventually you'll deprogram and sort yourself out and then you'll be able to see how you've actually been used and manipulated._ (The funny thing here is that this is pretty much exactly what happens. It's just that I think Techno so takes for granted that governments are the cause of all evils -- he even pointed out, right off the bat, that he saw the government as being responsible for Tommy's predicament, since what good is a government that sells out its own citizens? -- that it never occurred to him that Tommy's moment of clarity would be him realizing that not only he, but also his friends had been manipulated by Dream, and he really didn't want to become the next crazed lunatic being used against them.) It's so frustrating -- I feel like these characters have so much more in common than meets the eye, but they're sort of trapped on opposite sides of the same ideological coin, and while Techno at least seems to be coming to understand that he doesn't understand where Tommy's coming from (but still wishes him well, oh my heart!), I'm not sure that Tommy's capable of seeing Techno as anything more than a potentially useful/dangerous weapon. I'll never stop rooting for that breakthrough, I think having a strong understanding and respect between two irreconcilable enemies would be an incredible dynamic to watch play out, but . . . I'm not holding my breath.

Even as Techno's backstory isn't a defined canon point, it's clear how much his morality is steady on his hate for governments and he's a seemingly fair person. He took Tommy in, and I love the idea of him seeing himself on Tommy to a extent and YES the line "I hope Tommy finds what he is looking for" it's so important to show how Techno feels about that. He moved on as much as there's a part of him that cared for him, he knows that what Tommy needs doesn't reside with him. Now what's left it's to see if Tommy would be able to see this. The thing is: If Tommy and Techno meet again, it will probably be if/when Techno breaks out Dream, someone Tommy HATES. If that's what happens it will diminish the already low chances of Tommy seeing past his own experiences and trauma - he's still too young, too scared - what's SAD because I would love to watch Tommy have that kind of development with Technoblade, since my favorite part of Tommy's story was definitely his time in the Arctic and latter his fall out with Techno - it hurt both sides and they just didn't seem to grasp that, as Techno apparently learned later on
